More information is needed on how high the lift will be and what size tires you will run. The factory wheels have a +55mm offset. A +25 to +35mm offset for aftermarket wheels tends to work best without creating rub issues. Once you go lower than that, the wheel and tire combo begins sticking too...
No. Most quality plugs these days use a special plating that provides corrosion resistance. The use of an anti-seize can actually cause over-tightening of the plugs.

Whatever size crescent you decide on, make sure it's metric :giggle:
Seriously though, I go through this every time I take my Mustang to the track. I tend to overpack with tools. A good pared-down list of must-haves for the Ranger would be nice.
That's great to hear. I have a set of the global leaf springs ready to go with the install. Not quite Icons, but they are progressive and much better than the factory leaf. I just need to order up some SPC upper control arms and I'm ready to go.
Thanks much! That is the exact UCA I was looking at. I was on the fence about it though if it wasn't going to increase droop travel much. Thanks for spending my money
I have a quick question if you don't mind. I was leaning towards the Ford Fox 2.0 kit but purchased the Eibach ProTruck Stage 2 w/RR after hearing your comments in the video. I think it's a better value overall.
The question I have is do you have aftermarket UCA's installed? If so, did it...
My wife has a Jag F-Pace which we usually take on road trips. It drives nicely and is comfortable inside. However, she LOVES how comfortable riding in the Ranger is and has been asking us to take the Ranger on road trips instead.
Dang... I was going to suggest checking those torque numbers. However, I just saw that you started a different thread with the problem and that bad instructions with incorrect torque numbers were the culprit. Hope you get it rectified and your project back on the road!
I had to take it in once. I had the lower driver's door and passenger door window trim replaced due to fading, and the upper driver's front and driver's rear corner roof rail trim replaced due to paint flaking.
You're welcome. This is a great forum for information and the people that participate here do a good job of helping each other out with questions. There are people running LT255/80R17 with the factory 8" wheels, a 2" leveling lift, and no modifications to the crash bars. I think you have a good...
Wider wheels with a less positive offset and wider tires are the main limiting factor for people going with taller tires and a lift. Since you plan to use the OEM steel 17" wheels that are 1/2" narrower along with narrow tires, I believe you will have a good chance of fitment when using the...
You should be fine with the factory wheels at 8" wide. However, you can always get the Bronco 6G OEM steel wheels at 7.5" This thread here on Bronco 6G shows them mounted up. Just scroll down a bit.
As much as I would like to have the benefits of LED lights, I've come to the conclusion that it's not going to happen unless I purchase a proper LED light housing. I'm going to go with a stronger H11 bulb instead. I've learned from a few thousand hours of piloting airplanes at night and the...
