It's just the 91 octane tune from my SCT tuner, supposedly the 93 tune adds 59hp and 67ftlbs so the 91 tune shouldn't be too far off. I'm not getting a custom tune till I settle on which mods I still want. I'm in Maryland.
My weak preprogrammed 91 octane tune with no other mods probably has me close to 300hp and 325 torque at the wheels. Couple bolt ons and a real tune will easily make way more power.
I'm 6'4" and I have more room in the Ranger than in my previous Ram 1500's. Seat all the way back and all the way down, leaned back 2 clicks and I'm good. I was shocked that I could touch my legs together under the steering wheel, I normally can't do that in most vehicles. I used to smack my...
Finally gave up and got a tuner after telling myself I didn't "need" one. Um, yeah, it makes a difference. I'm using the preprogrammed 91 octane tune and it's impressive.
If the GFV adds height to the stock bov it probably would be too tall. I was very apprehensive closing the hood the first time after I installed the spacer.
It just bolts on underneath the stock bov. It comes with 3 longer screws for the added height. Just take off the 3 8mm factory screws and use a phillips head to install the new ones. It takes a few minutes to install and you can't really mess it up. Basically the spacer has cutouts in it so when...
Saw an interview on YouTube on the Mr. Truck channel where he had the head engineer of the new Ranger tell him the engine is designed to last 200,000 miles. From everything I've read and heard these things should be tanks. They're not built to fail.
I got rid of my 2019 Tacoma with 1600 miles for my Ranger. In comparison the Ranger doesn't seem to have that many issues honestly. The Tacoma forums are a nightmare lol. I'm extremely satisfied with my truck and I'm not a ford fanboy (haven't owned 1 in 10 years till now).
My pedal has been squishy since day 1. If I'm in sport mode manually shifting and I come to a stop I get a nasty downshift into 1st if I let it drop gears on its own. No lurching so far.
