Toyota and Ram treated me like gold, their online prices were legitimate and reasonable and their service departments did everything in their power to help me with any issues. My local Ford dealer treated me like dirt, lied about their prices and made me fight for hours just to get (what I...
I traded a 2018 Ram 1500 Harvest Edition for a 2019 Tacoma...then traded the Tacoma for my Ranger lol.
The Ram easily was the best riding truck I've ever driven and the transmission was phenomenal. BUT, they want you to run 89 octane in the hemi and it wouldn't break 18mpg no matter how I drove...
I just started checking out YouTube videos for them, might be a little aggressive for me but they do sound great on some of the videos I've watched. I'm sure there's a combination of muffler and resonator that'll give me what I want. These are definitely an option now.
Well that sucks. Makes you wonder why they had a resonator in the first place. At least it didn't make anything worse.
Hmmm, now what do we do? I think you're right, probably have to try a replacement muffler. Time to research a small subtle muffler with a deeper tone.
These two ding dongs fit back there. They're cozy when they both lay down on longer rides but luckily they're really good together and always snuggle anyways. She's (the black Lab/Pit mix) is about 90lbs now and he's like 80lbs.
You're not serious are you? The stock truck on 87 with 15 percent drive train loss makes around 230-235 to the wheels. The thread you posted totally discredits you lol. They're showing 3 runs on 91 ALL making over 250hp. Did you bother to read the post from Livernoise Motorsports?
Because it still has best in class towing, payload, and mpg on cheap gas? What benefit would Sct, Long Beach dyno, and 5 star tuning get from posting dyno results for the Ranger showing power improvements on 93 octane WITHOUT a tune? They have to prove that their tune actually does something or...
I had an 06 Focus hatchback I did a resonator delete on back in the day. It honestly sounded great, just a little more tone and sounded nothing like a Honda. Hopefully you get similar results.
The 8 speed trans they're using is by far the best on the market in my opinion. I've had 2 Rams with them and she has a 300 with one and they're just perfect. Those things are so smooth and always in the right gear.
