i sent one a couple weeks ago and got a scripted email back about how they were working hard during the pandemic, trying to stay on top of customer service, etc etc. nothing in the reply was about the suspension.
i was hoping it was an auto reply and that my real answer was on the way but i...
well, im liking them even more now.... even contemplating what they would look like on a lowered truck. i have no interest in doing much off-roading but i guess they could be useful on the highway and back roads at night.
hmmmmm
Just saw an ad for these on FB
https://sdhqoffroad.com/collections/sdhq-built-a-pillar-light-mounts/products/19-current-ford-ranger-sdhq-built-a-pillar-light-mounts
Thought they looked nice. Not interested in them for my truck, just thought id give yall a heads up
non-veteran here but i couldnt help putting these up. one on each side, opposite side is mirrored.
all of my veteran buddies (army, marines) love them and havent said a negative thing about them.
im trying to find a good location for texas flag(s). maybe one in the middle of the rear window?
update:
COVID-19 traffic has me seeing 27 AVG on 87 after about 2/3 of a tank.
now, if all yall could just stay home all the time, thatd be nice... lol
i can agree with that. i didnt take in to account the low mileage. what @Arch Stanton said makes a lot of sense too. turbos arent a big fan of really high altitudes. not enough air to compress.
id like to see how reno traffic compares to Dallas traffic
do you have auto start/stop enabled?
what gas are you running?
that number is incredibly low. i got 13 in my 77 monte carlo... hell, even my dads 91 suburban got better than that.
something is way out of whack there.
just FYI

i have almost 0 interest in trail riding in my truck. im more interested in the 1/4 mile dragstrip down here in Ennis and once i have the truck lowered, possibly some road courses.
now, if the '21 Bronco prices are right, theres a chance that the ranger could go away. then i might think...
so, after a hair over 11k miles, i can report the following:
2wd SCrew
maybe 75%hwy
ive always run 87
start/stop mostly on
trip 2 (never reset) reads 24.6 AVG
ive seen as high as 33 just after a fill up and doing 50ish on back roads on the way home but this quickly drops as i put more miles on...
my sister lives out that way. went to WTAMU and now works at the amarillo zoo. the bearded dragon they have in their reptile exhibit actually came from my parents house in north DFW.
ive never been out but i need to make the trip someday, if only to see Palo Duro (and cadillac ranch, i guess)
just to join in on the talks, i have a 75 pinto wagon. it was given to me when i was 15 non-working and was my first car and what i drove for several years. my dad and i actually raced it in the SCCA motorcross solo division and did decently well with it. long story short, i blew up the...
