As a Texan (grew up in the north) dealing with an extremely rare severe winter event - my ranger has been super clutch for my family. It has not struggled in the slightest with some really bad road conditions. Very very impressed.

I drove mine around in a rare Texas snow storm. 6” north of Austin, with no salt or plows. 4H Snow Mode was truly required. Most fun I’ve had in a while. Even pulled someone back on the road!

I noticed an issue with Sirius too. It just randomly stopped working - the station it was on continued to play but it would not tune to another station either manually or with presets. Turning car on off didn’t do anything. I had to do a master reset to get that functionality back.

It doesn’t happen every time but I’ll snap a picture the next time it happens.

For me - sometimes the display colors are very... wrong. Font colors (dark gray instead of white) are wrong, it’s a mix of day and night color schemes and doesn’t “fix” itself unless I go in and select a new day time wallpaper.

One thing I’m noticing is that Sirius Channels are much slower to update than 3.3 - at least in my experience. Channel logos updated pretty fast in the last version but now it’s painfully slow. I’m guessing because of the addition of album art but I hope they update. My wife’s explorer doesn’t...

Ok. I was able to stick the usb back in the port and it wrote the xml file. I was then able to upload it. Check vin still says I’m eligible for a download but I’m figuring that takes a bit to sync (no pun intended).

Stupid question but what do you have to do to submit to Ford?

Yep. All I see are .gz files.

I do not see an xml file in the zip file or on my usb so I’m guessing no. Is there Something else that needs to be done to get that or update the site without that?

Installed. Fixed my main issue - no Sirius titles in instrument panel - but does seem to have to re-download all Sirius info like channel logos etc. climate controls are present as well. Very simple install process. 15 - 20 min is right.

Agreed. Like all of us - I’ve been waiting over a year for 3.4 to fix items that didn’t work when I got the truck new in 2019 - like Sirius song titles not displaying in the instrument panel - only to have a “fix” break my climate controls which required another couple of months wait to fix...

As many have pointed out - it’s a waze issue. They recently updated their app (5/6) and it’s broken something within CarPlay. Deleting waze will fix it and waze will release an update that fixes it at some point. However - there is a work around if you don’t want to delete waze. You’ll need to...
