It’s actually not really that expensive believe it or not. Mine was obviously free but the sensor they replaced was only $60 on ford parts.com and the labor involved is minimal - pull off the plastic mirror housing and unplug the sensor / plug the new one in. I’ve had this on my past 3 cars and...
I can’t wait for 3.4 - which also means I’m terrified 3.4 will never come to Ranger. Would really like Sirius XM artist / track info to show up again in the right gauge display.
I’ve had similar issues at my also in Texas ford dealer. Here in Austin, I took my wife’s Explorer in for a weird squeak coming at idle, and it sat for 17 days. They kept telling me oh we’re working on it, they’re talking to Ford to figure it out, meanwhile I could see from both the Ford Pass...
I love it but there are a few things, most have been said. Feel like these are nit picky but they are things I’d like to see improved next gen.
No 60/40 split rear bench
No lay flat back seat
Window control position aren’t super natural
Passenger window control from master panel isn’t auto...

Yep! looks like there are a couple of things going on... In addition to the finger prints, the adhesive let go, so its not sitting flush with the windshield. Hopefully, its a quick, easy fix.
Yeah, i just crawled up there to get a closer look and that's exactly how i would describe it. Gel. The gel appears to have loosened up and peeled away from the windshield. But there's also that finger print. Hoping they can just wipe it off, and re-apply. I know they'll fix it, my bigger...
Not quite sure what category to put this under, but wanted to get some thoughts.
Have had my ranger for about a week, noticed that my auto sensing wipers weren't working correctly (I made sure to have the option enabled in settings, and the stalk set to auto, and sensitivity properly adjusted)...
Hi y'all - I'm Josh from Texas. Just purchased a new Ranger Lariat FX4. Excited to be back in a truck after too many years focusing on MPG in sedans. Ranger is the best of both worlds from my perspective.
