I've done both and activity on any given band/mode differs by region. Try both! I'd say that 90% of people on CB are goofing around and vice versa on the ham bands. CB got really weird (people preaching and playing music) and then died off up this way so I'm only cruising with a hand held...

I’m working on a 3D printed 3 switch pod that clips or mounts thru the holes on the surface between the 12 volt sockets. You can mount a basic 3 switch pod easily as shown in the photos, I’m just trying to round out some lines with a slightly styled custom piece.

I did my first oil change last week, no challenge really on the filter location or skid plate removal. The bigger problem was guessing the trajectory of the oil coming off the trough... lesson learned.

Is the alignment back to factory specs or are there modified specs specific for these collars?
