I never measured or theorized the gain of the Stubby but I suspect it cannot be better than stock. It serves a different purpose, to look cool. ( I have one on my truck right now next to a 40" comet CA-2x4SRNMO which looks ridiculous)
Ol Grey parked next to an abandoned radar base. What’s left of the main tower is up on the ridge top left.
there was a water obstacle (beaver dam) and boulders I didn’t feel like going for solo, so we hiked up.
I'm thinking of rear seat delete for my super crew and wondering if I can make a custom floor panel and use the OEM supercab rear panel and trim? Anyone know how much difference there is between the two on the rear panel of the cab? I'm guessing I'd be doing a little trimming here and there to...
Not sure, the wiring harness on my 2019 looks like a late Friday special, there is all sorts of poor taping everywhere at the connectors. Some painted over the tape on the body. The doors were misaligned haha.
Mechanically it's been fine, only have had to replace the driveshart carrier bearing.
I had a similar issue intermittently around 55-60 mph and it ended up being a bad driveshaft carrier bearing and u joint. Eventually it got so bad it would start at 20-25 mph and was causing a loud resonance throughout the cab.
I have a MotoTote M3 ... the price has gone up since I bought it. It's pretty solid and high quality.

I tried this but I believe the hood release cable has taken up this extra port in the main firewall grommet
Ended up doing this and following the harness up the left frame rail. There is alot of stuff to avoid on the way up to the battery area, including some plastic evap lines and steering shaft.
At these prices they can probably make the same profit selling 2/3 of what they sold in the 5G era. Then push the others into a Maverick for some bonus cash.
Mine was covered under an extended warranty at 64 months / 42k miles. But I do think it should be covered by a factory drivetrain warranty, that shouldn’t be a wear item like brake pads.
