People said this about frams when I was getting them for $4 a filter. No issues oil wise for me. Maybe you just got a crappy worker when you ordered them.
I’ve gone over 100k with this problem on my 2019. Honestly for those that get it. If you have to pay for the repair, might as well wait for the fuel pump to go out and get both changed.
Used Quaker State + Fram for the first 50k miles. My store nearby stopped carrying QS so I switched to Blended Castrol White bottle. I change every 5k-6k miles and it’s been fine. 110k now
Yes definitely a good idea. Double check on the tune if you should run one step colder plugs when you order them. I had a hell of a time with auto one to get the one step colder and I was unable to. I’m sitting with just two of them and can’t get the other two sent.

Usually when my MPG drops into the 18 mark it’s a tell tale sign to check the plugs. Your gap has probably widened so I’d pull them, check the gap and check for water in the cylinder, then close back up with some dielectric grease for protection on the boot.
Honestly this could be a cause. I have not seen if the hood goes up against the cover. I want to try to come up with a solution before I start reaching out to the company. Like use a few extra screws, two pieces of sheet steel, and perhaps some rubber or foam lining like someone suggested
