    Just had to do some work on the danger ranger. I changed the ignition coils and it's running like new again. Also decided to give the E3 diamond spark plugs a try. Let's see if they make the 30k miles.

    Yeah had to replace the rear axle as the stock one basically came apart and destroyed itself.

    Update for the catch can users: I am on the verge of hitting 130k miles on the mishimoto catch can. Couple of things to note 1. The can was clogging up. I was having a weird issue where I would lose power at low Revs and a weird rumble. Thought it was the tranny but just dropped a new catch can...

    Honestly sounds pretty normal to me. The cpu has to pick a gear given how far you pushed down on the throttle and of course it’s a turbo’d engine so you have that lag. Next time use sport mode or double tap the throttle to down shift.

    Yeah it’s pretty norm at this point. Just make sure it doesn’t puddle and check every 30k miles

    Keep an eye on your wheel speed sensors. Mine was similar and I didn’t take it to ford early enough. Had to get the rear passenger side axle replaced.

    Haha I give your county credit. Nothing like being in a pursuit and pushing on the brake to only hear grinding and no slowing. Our city basically bought soccer mom explorers and fitted the gear on them. Not even ballistic panels in the doors.

    Eh I am slowly becoming gentler as the miles go up. I was taught by my grandfather that if you ever touch the brake on the highway, you’re driving wrong. But I’m glad to hear others have made the stocks last as well. Fueled up for the next debate now

    So long story short, got into a discussion with coworkers on vehicle maintenance and nobody believed my ranger still had the stock pads and rotors. I’m at 123k on mine and every time Les Schwab checks them they say good to go. Anyone else still riding with the stock pads/rotors?
