  1. Carmax/Carvana prices for trade in

Just ran mine on KBB and my XLT with tech and sport package with 10K miles trade in is $44- $46,000 trade in and when I picked up our new bronco a few weeks ago the Ford dealer offered me a real $40K trade in or outright buy.
  2. Why I may be selling -

After slogging through the RV and new Truck dealers (wanting 5-10K over MSRP) Why? I am already tired of the BS. Low tolerance and patience now. I have a few years of RV knowledge that I keep to myself during discussions with generally unqualified sales people that have no idea of what...
  3. Why I may be selling -

Yes, i am sure I would not recognize it and still my exit off Sand Canyon if it is still there!
  4. Why I may be selling -

Today they are both a money pit and in demand. Not a problem selling old RV's for very good money like used cars today.
  5. Why I may be selling -

The issue is size. We need something big enough for us both to have a computer set up. SHE is working from home 100% of the time now. The internet for me is for personal use. Class B too small. Class C 26-28 is the next level up and stress free compared to trailer pulling in my opinion...
  6. Why I may be selling -

Yes. I favor the new Gasser 7.3 and diesel while superior in many respects costs 10K more and adds additional weight into your GVWR constant RV math we must do to keep safe.
  7. Why I may be selling -

Been looking to retirement travel as my age and medical issues are catching up and after so many friends and family dying this past year I have decided if I don't do it in the next 10 years I very probably won't do it at all. The maxim, "Here today, gone tomorrow" is definitely playing out in...
  8. Man my retirement accounts are doing awesome.

I manage my own and a few other family and friends portfolios of stocks and IRAS/Roths for fun and I have been amply and justly rewarded, so much so that I never have to worry about money or cash flow for the rest of my life. Just sayin. Teaching myself to run my own money has been a life...
  9. 1400 Mile Road Trip Eastern Sierras, Death Valley

Thanks for the memories - Did a MC camping trip years ago that hits alot of the same locations!
  10. Lomax bed cover?

can speak pretty highly about the Gator EFX so far. installed a little over 2 years..
  11. Dealer wants to buy mine back for more than I paid?

Depends on the dealer. Luckily we just last Wednesday picked up our NEW Bronco for MSRP and got KBB $32,000 trade in for our 2020 HPP high performance Mustang Coupe. luckily, just before the snow storm hit!!
  12. Dealer wants to buy mine back for more than I paid?

I am too but the tax saving is worth more trading in by $3-$4,000 more!
  13. Dealer wants to buy mine back for more than I paid?

My own dealer and others - Here is the proof... Hmmmm - Just for giggles I did a comparison and a 2021 Nissan Titan V8 is worth less than my 2019 smaller (less is more but in higher demand Ranger)
  14. Rivian or Ranger dilemma

I just took delivery of our NEW full sized Bronco to add to the growing FORD garaged stable but bought the Rivian Stock! Smile.
  15. Oil Dipstick Level Reading...

I've always changed and checked my own oil but this time with getting the ranger new I negotiated a FREE maint package when purchased to close the deal after 3 days of negotiation back in 2019. Will commence changing myself again next year.
  16. Oil Dipstick Level Reading...

I thought reading the dip stick you were 1 qt low in the cross hatch section and exactly full when both holes in the dip stick were filled with oil? That is how it looks when I return from the dealer when they say 7 qts were charged to my account.
  17. NEW Blue Bronco is home and it is Sweet!

Yes. First surprise is that it does not come with front parking sensors and we have the mid level package Second is start stop can not be stopped simply by plugging in a led night light in the rear 12V plug in recepticle like on our Ranger.. Grrrrr.
  18. NEW Blue Bronco is home and it is Sweet!

It will drive you crazy tracking it like it did my S/O... They were kind enough to send pics as it flowed off the Assy line with the window sticker!
  19. Battery Management System - Has it been a success?

Continuation of BMS Story - In for my 10K oil change and my dealer is 65 freeway miles and 1.5 hrs away. Upon getting truck back I asked for the battery alternator check. To my dismay tech handed me piece of paper that said "Good" but needs charging! I questioned the service writer who...
  20. NEW Blue Bronco is home and it is Sweet!

Just bought an easy up that came in a 7 ft x 12 inch box and was not sure it would fit into the Bronco and with the seats flat the box fit entirely into the rear of the bronco ! I would not have been able to do that on the ranger with out it sticking up over the tailgate! The seats are more...
