With the bumpy ride the PSI is the first thing I checked... Mine was at 31 on the Hankook 18 tires. Taller tires also mean harsher ride across the board. They look nicer but perform less comfortably transmitting shock
I would have preferred the same size wheel but I had pushed the purchase price so low they were not giving into anything else I had wanted to "Fix"... i got my XLT Sport with all the options for basically 35K +T/L
I just got mine (XLT, 4x4 crew cab) outfitted like I want with all the goodies less the Leather and FX4 package for $39,000 OTD. In WA that includes 10% sales tax. Stickered for $42,210 + ($41110 + $1100) their "accessories" already installed. A little over $6K off when all said and done...
My 4wheels and tires are 265/60 X 18 but the spare is 255/70/16? The XLT is suppose to come with a 17 inch tire? Is it just mine or you too missing real spare size just in case?
The Taller the wheel the harsher the ride. We noticed this also test driving all the Rangers. Could not pin point the bounce to either the FX suspension, leather having more give than the fabric cushion or standard suspension and PSI. We as a collective decided the leather seats on FX4...

Opened up my Hood to find the engine cover missing? Some had it on, some not but I made my dealer put one on mine off another one... He did not know why it was missing? Is your's missing? Anyone know why?
