The recommend location is free, the easiest to install, and works well. I’ve seen people run it into the center console and mount it near the 4wd selector, also free but much more difficult. I’m so happy with the switch fascia and would gladly buy it again, but I wanted extra switches. It might...
The switch on the right is an up, auto, down switch for my amp research power steps. The dual switch in the middle is for future ditch lights (top) and future driving lights / winch interchangeable on a front receiver hitch with an Anderson connector (bottom).
How bad do you want the brake controller to work with the emergency braking system? Because that's the only difference between the Ford Redarc brake controller (discontinued) and the regular Redarc brake controller (still available). Both have wires going to the third brake light. Here is a...
I will never get a decked system just based on their super annoying marketing. I have a locking tonneau cover which is amazing (keeps everything dry and secure)! I’m thinking about getting a tmat system which is a bed organizer that also acts kind of like a cheap bed slide. https://www.tmat.com/...
1Up super duty rack or QuickrStuff Mach 2 rack. Both are expensive but worth it! I don’t think a tailgate pad is going to be very much fun to load with an 80lb bike. You could also treat your e-bikes like dirt bikes, get an aluminum ramp and ratchet them against the front of the bed.
I love my Bak Revolver X4S! I was thinking about getting a bed liner as well until I got the cover. With the cover there’s not really a need for a liner.
I have a young kid, a short wife and a mom with bad knees. I installed a set of Amp Research powersteps and couldn't be happier! I installed the optional switch as well so I can lock them up for offroad and lock them down for the carwash. My kit came with a broken motor that was cracked and bent...
You can get an OBD2 Bluetooth device and an app on your phone that lets you set up a custom dash on your phone with gauges for things like transmission temperature, battery voltage, oil temp, etc. You can use an old phone and just monitor these things more closely when you’re towing so you can...
Very ironic! It's an Alaska truck that I got a couple of months ago in Colorado. The only accessory that I know it has from factory is a block heater but I can't see why that would be wired into the OBD2 port.
I'm installing a trailer brake controller and a set of Amp research power steps. I saw these taps (the connected ones) behind the OBD2 port when I was putting in my taps (the ones that aren't yet connected) for the power steps. Anyone have an idea of what they're for?
