I've never had the ASS on my '22 Lariat since the day I bought it. Dealer disabled it before I even found the truck. Not even sure if I can actually turn it on or not. Never tried.
Yes, that is what I thought you were gonna say. I looked at the picture again and I see what you mean. With the lift, bigger tires and a lack of a drop in the hitch, that trailer would have to have a tongue at 48" high to properly set on that hitch. Makes sense.
Maybe he's pulling a parade...
It's a Ford. An American company.
It's a Ford Ranger. One of the most American-built vehicles in the world.
The other is definitely not.
You can call me a homer, but... that's enough of a reason for me.
Honest question because I'm completely clueless on hitches (but I want to learn more cuz I really want to tow a travel trailer someday when I get up enough nerve to buy one), but what's wrong with his hitch setup?
Looks good! I'm really diggin' the green. Definitely a less seen color.
First thing I got for my 2019 XLT a couple years ago was new LED headlight & fog light bulbs. I just couldn't wrap my head around why Ford put such awful yellow halogens in the headlights (both high and low beam)...
I might be uniquely qualified here.
I have had two of the newest generation Rangers.
I just traded in a 2019 XLT 2x4 Sport that I had for two years this past June. I now have a 2022 Lariat FX4. So, I've had a 2-wheel drive and now a 4-wheel drive.
One of the first things I noticed about my...
Are you worried about November in AZ here? I can't say that I am, even with the "purple" trend we saw in 2020. Do you really think there are that many idiots in this state that will vote ANYONE blue into office here after the shitshow we've seen throughout the country in the past 18 months...
So, I know Arizona is a 2A Sanctuary State, but I'm still kind of wondering what that will mean for us if this thing is passed. I bought my AR back in June, so I am not too concerned right now. But surely someday I'm gonna want another. Are we really going actually be allowed to buy ARs from...
I'm in for somewhere in AZ. If it's in the lower country, then sometime in October. Can do August in the higher country... though you run the risk of monsoon storms.
You should really get the smoked out turn signal indicators for your side mirrors. I see you got the smoked out fender signals already, but I got both for my black Ranger and they look so much better.
The only person that would be even remotely actually concerned with the trim/equipment level that my truck came with is... me.
I'm pretty sure no one else in the entire world cares about what is really on/in my truck. It's nice to chat about. It's nice to run through once in a while. But...
Yeah, that does look a little better. I haven't seen that look on much out here in AZ because I do think doing anything to your headlights or tail lights is supposedly illegal.
I'm not even sure how you do that, though. Or if it's even legal to do here in Arizona? Is that legal in Cali?
Do you have more pics of yours you can share? I'd love to see those.
As you'll notice, I hate the stupid stickers, too. Even though I DID give it a bit of a second thought because the FX4 sticker is blacked out for the blackout package and looked KINDA cool. I still didn't want it mucking up the truck. The only badges I want on the truck are the manufacturer...
