I'm still confused on this point and could use some help.
I've been running 91 through my ranger; my other option is Ethanol-Free 88. Which is better for power? For fuel economy?
I reset the trip every fill-up and a few other times just to watch what happens in different conditions. When I am out on the road going 60ish, it'll get low 20's but the city MPG is horrible. Once I get back in town it drops like a rock. PS. Auto Stop/Start is still engaged.
I'm getting the...
I'm only get 15.9 mpg on mine (4x4 FX4). I really don't think its my driving style.. my wife calls me "The Coaster" because I coast up to every stop light
Do we have reason to believe the TSB for rough idle could be negatively affecting mileage (mine was built 12/19/18) or is that...
I've been trying to find that page on fuelly, can you point me in the right direction? It'll be interesting to watch as there becomes more than 5 trucks being monitored (3 of which are diesel).
Post #22 above stated, "The specs say that tire is 32.1" So if there is still an inch with what looks like the stock aero and crash bar in place? If that is the case it would be easy to fit a 285/70R17 which is 32.7" for my truck?"
For example, 285mm is 11.22 inches wide. I was simply stating...
Don't forget the width calculation. Too many people focus on diameter and forget that is only one part of the equation. For example, you may be able to fit a 32" 265mm tire, but not be able to fit a 32" 305mm tire or even a 275mm tire.
As you go wider, at full turn the outer edge will be closer...
Looks great! Glad they fit without spacers since that just makes clearance issues on the fender even worse. You did a great job balancing the look with OEM!

Ford Motor Co. has launched an investigation into whether flaws in an internal mathematical model may have caused it to overstate gas mileage and understate pollution from a wide range of vehicles...
Truck was HORRIBLE in snow! I used Trail Control going up steep snowy roads and it worked perfectly. I couldn't get it stuck, or even get it to lose grip, it was no fun at all!!!
^^^ That sucks. As the other proud owner of a truck that spent time in the shop, I feel for ya. Good luck.
PS. I'm surprised if the floor pan was bent that bad that it would still fit flush to the frame and the doors all still fit tight. I guess I figured it would throw off alignment of other...
I must not be familiar enough about the truck because I'm having a hard time figuring out whats going on here.
Is the bent floor plan causing the rattle? Does that have something to do with the rear seat bottom not latching? My rear seat bottom latches in the upright position, but not in the...
I'm happy to report she made it through surgery and is now home recovering. I haven't had a chance to check for lasting side effects but hopefully she's better than new!
I spoke to the Service Manager today. They had three mechanics out sick with the flu so I got delayed a day. Hopefully I'll have it back tomorrow.
He also said I should be getting comped a 4-yr Maintenance Plan from Ford so hopefully that comes through. I'll definitely update when I get the...
What am I missing here?
I linked my truck to the WiFi at my house so I can lock and unlock the truck while in my garage and start the engine; though I can't see any time I'll ever do this while its in the garage.
My truck already has remote start and door locks and my phone already has a data...
