If you’re willing to upgrade to a 17”, my calculations show a 255/70r17 is .5” larger diameter than the factory size. It’s what I’m going to spec out to replace my 18” wheel/tire package as I’m going to a 17” wheel now
I’m looking to switch from the factory 18” wheels to some 17” wheels and a bit larger tires. I’ll admit, I’m a bit of an idiot when it comes to fitting wheels, as it can be a pretty expensive mistake.
Has anyone put this sort of wheel on their ranger with no lift?
Just installed the JLT oil separator. Pretty basic install, and everything seems really well thought out. Getting that fitting on/off at the back of the intake manifold was an absolute chore though, and I don’t even have that big of hands.
Just an update, I took a chance and went with the aeroforce interceptor gauge. The f150 ecoboost guys seemed to like them. I used an Autometer universal cup, and mounted it to the column. Not many options available for mounting to be honest. Seems really responsive and can measure a wide variety...
I’ve had several tanks of quality 91 through mine(all I run it, and it’s the highest costs e available locally), and still have the low speed shudder.
To me, it feels most like a drivetrain vibration, imagine very similar to an incorrect pinion angle.
