I think it is a personal choice, some like it, some don't, some need it, some don't. For some it is strictly a financial decision. I love reading all the different responses as most provide good cases either way. I for one have never owned a 4X2 and most likely won't. That is my choice...

I have only had my Ranger 5 days, but I can't stop smiling every time I talk about it or go for a drive. I even smiled going to work at 4am. So far this is my favorite vehicle I have ever owned, and I have owned a few over the years.

The 2.3 is awesome. I love the power and get up and go this truck has. I really think Ford nailed it.

I'm in Jersey and mine came in to a train yard south of Philly and was trucked to Flemington, NJ. Although the delivery date was a moving target the last week on the tracker it actually arrived 4 days early. Your almost there and it is worth it!

I got the $750 rebate and the X-Plan. I think Military and Student discounts are the only others available. I couldn't even get the first responder discount.
