I love all the "Nanny Stuff" on my truck. Set it to the level you want and it works great. As stated by others most if not all can be disabled. Also if you really don't want it don't get the tech package as an option. I think you should get it and you won't be disappointed. Best of luck!
Most waited about 2.5 to 3 month's. Some a little more, some a little less. A few had issues and waited a lot longer, however those issues seem to be straightened out. It is so worth the wait. It's is my favorite vehicle I have ever owned. Best of luck. Lot's of good info here.
I agree 4WD is definitely better for towing. I have been towing since I started driving and on numerous times needed 4WD to get in or out of places. I also agree the new generation of 4WD is nothing like it's predecessors in driving, durability and maintenance.
I am not a heavy offroader...
Immediate Family are the only ones allowed to drive it although I have been the only driver so far. Friends would get the offer for me to drive it for them. Anyone else would be a hard no. Had an F-250 for 12 years and my wife and my father were the only other drivers.
Sorry about your truck, glad you're OK. You should be fine, she can change her story with the insurance company but the PD report will tell the real story. I got rear ended in my Focus in Dec. and it was totaled. Police report told the story and my insurance got the other company to pay...
I've seen 3 in the last 2 weeks. One 2 towns over in a driveway at night so I couldn't get any details, I saw a white 1 on I-95 North in VA while going from Williamsburg to DC. It went by me so fast all I saw was the tailgate by the time I realized it was a Ranger. Finally today on I-95 North...
Sometimes that has nothing to do with lifts and is just due to poor hitch set ups. Iv'e seen some crazy stuff going down the highway and I wouldn't leave my driveway like that. Very dangerous.
Congrats on the new truck. The mileage does improve once you get a couple thousand miles on it as well. I was averaging 18 to 20 mpg now I have 3000 miles on it the mpg improved. Did a 200+ mile trip yesterday and averaged 24.8 mpg.
I finally had my first siting last Friday evening. We were doing a fund raiser at my FD and saw a Magnetic Gray Ranger drive by. Was great to finally see another one on the road!
I have not set up my Ranger for towing yet. However my Focus I was able to set it up and remove the key. The steering wheel needs to be unlocked or you will cause damage. Never had an issue with pot holes and towed that car for 3 years without issues, With proper tow bar set up the towed...
