I donāt know about any other options, I looked around too before I ended up shelling out for the Clearviews, and really canāt say enough good things about them. Theyāre great for towing, but I like the wide convex mirror at the bottom for freeway driving too, really makes a difference being...
That is pretty sweet, a smart switch for your car. The only drawback might be having to swipe around to flip lights on and off, but probably not that much of an inconvenience especially if itāll also work via voice assistant.
Itās definitely a good looking truck, and that color really suits it. Shortly after the ābuild and priceā came online I built a Z71 in Sand Dune and started wondering what my Ranger is really worthā¦. Current truck is in never-never land, warranty is over but sheās not costing me much - yet.
I swear they should just change our anthem to āItās the governmentās faultāā¦. Unfortunately itās going to get worse, the feds up here have mandated a phase-out of ICEās for passenger vehicles by 2035. The infrastructure up here has a LONG way to catch up, distances are too big and chargers can...
Iāve been wanting a SmartCap for a while now, seems to best fit our needs (secure storage and ability to carry a RTT now and then). In an attempt to save a few nickels, Iāve been watching the used market. For those of you with SmartCaps, just wondering what sorts of things I should be looking...
On our first road trip after buying the truck, I repurposed the long seat cushion from our patio sofa - outdoor fabric and it was almost a perfect match for the tailgate, both length and width. Needed a place for both my wife and I to sit after all.
Add me to the list too - my 2019 XLT just passed 83,000 km (so just over 51,000 miles). Itās sitting at the dealer right now, waiting for the magic part. Looks like I at least might be ahead of the curve on mileage.
Clearview mirrors just arrived! Likely going to sit for a bit until it warms up, but the trailer isnāt going anywhere until spring either. Canāt wait to see them on the truck though.
The AR strikes me as something that would be cool in the showroom, but would age like milk once you get the car home. Maybe Iām just having flashbacks to the fights I used to have with first gen Sync in my 2011 Edge, just trying to get her to turn up the heatā¦.
I still have the original battery in my 2019, bought new in February 2020. The last spell of -30 whether we had I got the āFeatures have been disabledā message through FordPass, but the truck had been sitting about a week at that point too. Been thinking about a battery maintainer, but I also...
I had almost the exact same thing happen, ironically enough on my test driveā¦. went to stop leaving the dealerās lot and ended up jerking forward into the street, good thing nobody was coming. Not a peep from the sales guy in back either. Happened again a few days later, and I found that I was...
Was towing this - Aliner Classic. Towed great with the Ranger, but was getting to be a bit tight size-wise for usā¦
Upgraded in August to a Micro Minnie FLX 2108 DS. Perfect size for us, and the truck still handles the extra weight just fine especially with a decent WDH, but definitely takes...
Iām glad I noticed this thread, Iām pretty sure you passed me on Saturday coming across Saskatchewan. Not every day I come across anything with California plates, let alone another Ranger. Commented to my wife on the nice striping on yours.
