Hi,
With the Eibachs adjustable struts, I set mine at the 2nd notch, which according to Eibach, each space is 3/4” so mine is set 2 1/4”. I measured from center axle the bottom fender and came out 1/2” higher on rear.
I hope this helps.
Thanks Dennis!
Thanks so much for the info and pictures! That helps a lot. Both your trucks look great. I would like to keep a slight rake like yours. Mine is a 19 super crew also. Mine has an excessive nose down look, even when compared to other rangers for some reason. I was over at my dealership and they...
Hey fellas! I purchased a set of Eibachs way back in march, and they are still sitting on the shelf. I have looked at ranger pics on here forever, and have only seen a couple that have used the 1.5 setting, and none that i remember anyways, that used the 3/4 inch setting. I am looking to...
Didn't see anywhere in my post that i said it was 1921. And D fresh posted the same thing right before i did, but you chose to quote me and i didn't even say anything negative. Oh well.
I like how my 2019 4wd sport rides. I bought some Eibach front struts last march, and still haven't put them on. Wanted to raise the nose a little bit, but i like how it rides and drives. Afraid if i do it won't drive as well as stock, but the funny car stance doesn't look good on a 4wd truck!
Those should work great! First winter with the stock Bridgestones they worked good. 23000 miles on them now, 2nd winter, and they really seemed to have lost a lot of grip, even though treadwear is still ok. I have a set of near new 265/70/17s i took off my previous truck i'm going to throw on...
If you don't already know, might want to do a google search on "her." I heard this on another forum and didn't believe it, but according to the internet it's true.
I was really hoping they would go to a column shift or knob and get rid of center console for more room and use a 60/40 front bench with fold down console/arm rest. 6 ft bed option with crewcab, actual knobs for climate control, fold flat 60/40 rear seats would have been great.
Styling is horrible. I hate the front end and headlights on the f150 and this is more of the same. Looks like the new Frontier and an F150 had a love child. No 6ft bed option is also a no go for me. Probably going back to full size trucks as the current Ranger is just a little too small with the...
D fresh, you are so wrong. I can already tell by your posts that you are likely a horrible operator of vehicles(note i didn't say driver) as are just about 90% of the public, including those posting in this thread. Are there lousy truck drivers? Sure, but they get weeded out pretty quick, while...
Ev's are a technological dead end. Always have been. There will eventually be new discoveries in power sources, but this ain't it. Ev's are at a big disadvantage to I.c. engine, and will be for the forseeable future. If they are forced on the public by .gov regulations, they also will not only...
I would have to say no, I would not buy again. Brake pedal feel, wonky shifting, take off shudder, poor floor heat just make for miserable driving. I have been to the dealer many times, and have numerous tsb's and gsb's done, but the problems persist. Not interested in the 6th gen at all now...
Huh, sorry i don't have a higher post count. Didn't realize it was related to automotive knowledge. I'm very busy with work , and not much of a poster. Glad you straightened me out. Hope i can avoid hurting your feelings in the future. Meh, i'm done here.
Yup. I do like the truck or i wouldn't have bought it. But mine has some issues that, in my opinion, need fixed. Just because other people haven't experienced this, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I swear you could post that one of your tires is low, and you will immediately get jumped on by...
You would be suprised, it happens with regularity on other forums. They eventually get outed. Some are just better at it than others. It doesn't bother me but it does hinder the free flow of information at times.
I have had my truck back at the dealership several times for issues. They performed the brake gsb and bled them. It did slightly improve them, but i found i can still press the brake completely to the floor at a stop. Is that normal for hydraulic brakes? Can you press your brake pedal to the...
People trying to discuss issues they are experiencing and trying to find fixes, and we have members who are probably paid agitators from Ford/dealerships trying to attack/shout them down. Site staff needs to clean this stuff up. Absolute nonsense.
Commenting on a factual observation is not complaining. Some people hate it when their sacred cow gets criticized. The truck i bought was identical to the one i test drove. Who knew the brakes differed that much truck to truck? To be honest the only reason i bought it was it was a good deal and...
Brake pedal feel absolutely sucks. It has nothing to do with stopping distance. It has everything to do with drivebility. It is the worst feel of any brakes in any vehicle i have driven in 40 years, which is a considerable amount. The best description i can give is that it is similar to 4 wheel...
THANK YOU for posting this! I have been plagued with mushy, inconsistent brake feel, so much so that i hated driving it. Just had it over to the dealer to have this done and can confirm it fixes 98% of the spongy inconsistent pedal feel. Brakes are not touchy either after procedure, just...
