AEM is great but expensive, I have some autometers in a different car, the mechanical sensors have been better for me than the electronic sensors (had 2 go bad).
I have the 6112s front, 5100 rears, stock leaf's (planning on getting Tremor leafs at some point). The new suspension gets the body roll and nose diving under control very well, I am very happy with them. Its a firmer ride than stock but since I do 99% on road driving, its what I was looking...
I have not taken them off road yet besides some gravel fire roads which are still roads. From what I've read on here and my experience with fox suspension on other trucks, they (Fox) would probably be better off road since they tend to be softer. For something along the lines of a fox2.0 or the...
I did 6112s front, 5100 rears, stock everything else. I like them overall, much firmer than stock but not overly so. The body roll though corners and overall pavement control is way better. I did about 1.5-2” of lift and fit 265-70-17 tires with no issues.
Overall quite happy, my only 2 wishes...
I picked up a Viofo A329s on cyber Monday, I haven't installed it yet but I've had 2 other Viofo's on other cars and the picture quality is quite good. It's a traditional style cam, but I picked up a Dongar adapter to take power from the mirrors harness so I only need to run one wire to the rear...
I got my raw aluminum standard PPE pan from stage3motorsports, I paid $287.99 shipped.
Ford ULV trans oil I got from RockAuto for $5.22 a quart, I got 7 qts (a 5qt jug and 2 singles) and that was enough to have a spare quart for later. (Prices from 9/2025)
I went with a set of Lariat LEDs off a wreck on ebay to replace my halogens, I looked at all the aftermarket ones but for the similar price to the nice ones (I think I paid around 1k for a pair) I got ford ones. My thinking was all the wiring is definitely up to the load since its the stock...
I think i'm going to go with standard PPE pan, an upgrade with not a hint of a downside.
Stage 3 has the standard pan
Rockautos got the filter and the fluid
Don't forget the Lubeguard Platinum (silver bottle) I think a 10oz bottle should do it.
I'm gearing up to do the first transmission fluid service at 30k, and I already have a Fitzstick ready to install and I want a PPE pan too but wanted to see if I should do standard or deep fill?
Not too concerned about it but I am still under powertrain warranty, I know Ford doesn't care about...
What a strange change to make, 3/8" longer. I'm curious why they would have made that change. I would have expected maybe a little beefier on TP versions, thought it might be a little strength upgrade to swap in but oh well.
I've had my axles half out before for suspension work, fairly sure it...
Hey, I was looking at your site as I tore my front driver CV boot, I'm seeing 2 options for complete axles: with or without tow package. Are the CVs really different? And/or are they stronger?
Did my front suspension today (Bilstein 6112s) and wanted to share information that is needed for having a successful install.
#1 The most important thing that I learned only after screwing it up initially is UNDO THE CV AXLE NUT and push it back so it is loose and doesn't get pulled when you...
