I would scan the common issues you see here, there are a couple big ones. TSB's don't solve them or anything until they happen, they aren't preventative. But you can get good clues and suggestions from others that have gone through them
I ran into that on a different type issue with my Chevy prior to getting the Ford. May be common now, just make sure the fee is covered by the warranty as well. It is part of the same service
You’re selling to people that have them, most anyway. Check out sales sites and also maybe carsandbids.com - mostly cars but a fair number of trucks and I don’t see Rangers often
I've used it a few times just to see 2nd being engaged and different shift patterns. The problem tho is that it downshifts faster too and you get more downshift shock. So when I use it, its only to start off (typically cold am) and I turn it off
My truck mechanics had to run it while on the lift to get the temp up high enough when they changed the trans fluid, they were following the book (don't know if that's really required). I had then looked at this approach before but didn't buy, I assume there are a few like this and perhaps...
