Had my 2019 for 1 month. Started hearing a hard thunk after I stop. Not sure where it is coming from; struts, something loose that is slipping? Never heard anything like this before in any vehicle.

I am the third owner. Purchased from dealer. Nothing in CarFax indicates anything that would lead me to suspect where it is coming from. Transmission appears to be shifting normally.

Thanks for the assist.

Loose driveshaft. There are mentions and threads about this. Sometimes it just needs lubrication, it seems, and sometimes they get replaced.

As it turns out, mine is about to be replaced in the next week or so.

Drive shaft lube would be my first try. But considering your year, transmission could be just as likely. Mine completely grenaded last year, out of warranty. So I am not saying it lightly.

What were your symptoms like and how often would you hear/feel it? Thanks

Thunk.
Just like you described.
Happens pretty much every start and stop anymore.
That gets replaced as soon as they can schedule me. Hopefully this week.

Mine is hard enough now that I have been known to look in the rearview mirror to see if I've been hit. And that's probably got something to do with why it's being replaced.
