Mine is running wonderful but I have had a bump here and there over time with the tranny. It has only happened in D (drive) not S (sport). It happens when I'm just coasting along at speed and let off the gas.....then bump. It hasn't happened that much but I think that is enough to take her in...
So you are ready to pony up $88K for a Lightning?
I need to find the article I read about Tesla battery packs dying too soon......
Also, you did not address the range issue......
Another thing to consider......have you seen the data on how much charging/power capacity is lost in below...
Zane, congrats on the great report! My 19' Ranger is almost at 97K and I can report the same....except the mileage.
Which brings me to your wonderful gas mileage.....
The ONLY way you are getting 26.5 miles per gallon in your Ranger is driving that thing like a granny.....
That is not meant to...
My local Ford dealer in Ft. Collins has 2 Lightnings on the lot.....priced at a ridiculous $88K
I guess Ford is figuring out that folks don't really want to spend 90K on a very limited vehicle with only a 300 mile range.....probably half that if you are towing something.
Now that we know these...
It's these cheap knock-off ebikes with the lithium battery technology from Istanbul.....lol.
Seriously, I guess a lot of these companies use very suspect lithium technology in their batteries...BOOM!
...
Moral of the story seems to be.....don't buy ebikes on Amazon....lol...:explode:
I put my K&N back in the box last summer and went back to a stock Motorcraft filter (WIX when not available).......
I do use the K&N cabin filters.....
Obviously we aren't going off-road with that setup.....
Looks great but those tires are just waiting for something sharp.....
I'll stick with my 10 ply KO2's
NO ONE should have to pay for that ridiculousness with our Climate Control systems!!!
My dash still isn't like it was when I bought it!!! Plus the tech got grease on my headliner!!
That was a pisser to say the least!!
All you stock folks need to seriously think about a tune.....probably will get rid of all these issues I hear about in here....lol. We don't get that stuff with the upgraded ECU tuning......
I still thing Livernois programming is superior to anything out there (including FORD)....just by...
My bad for not reading further....also, since you are a EE I completely understand.....lol. My grandfather was a Master Electrician back when there were many less than now.....he was very detailed with anything electrical. I was an electronic tech/instrument specialist on C-130's in the Air...
Lee I will get back to you on the PID. I was using the old Torque Pro app that I bought and downloaded a couple of years ago but my Fire tablet bit the dust. When I bought a new one and went to download the app it wasn't in the same form. I believe I'm using an updated version and it allowed me...
Steve....that wasn't really directed at you. I totally agree with your over-the-top with the towing. If just a daily driver then my recommendations stand.....
