I feel like I’m getting something in the mail every day. Today? The Dee Zee bed mat...
... oh, and another tailgate damper to use to control the A/C buttons because why the hell not. ?
Eventually, the plan is to drop the $450 for a spray in liner, but this’ll hold me (and the bed) over until...
Hello All,
Looks like I've gotta start preparing to give my LBT ("Little Blue Truck"... I've got a small child at home and if you do too, you know what this is) its first cleaning. I usually took my cars to a brick-and-mortar car wash, but I figure I'd start washing LBT myself to make sure...
It’s helpful when you’ve got a load in your arms. Just pop the latch and let it drop without having to put the load down. More of a luxury than a necessity, but it has its purpose.
Not having a 60/40 option to lift the rear seat. I’m currently storing some bungees in the bins underneath the back seat and I also have a child’s car seat, so accessing the bungees means I have to unlatch the car seat first, place it outside, grab the bungee, and then re-install the car seat...
Thanks for the heads-up on this! Looks to do a great job bringing back the weathered trim. But it seems to be more of a restorer than a protective/preventative product, no? I'm looking for something that keeps the black trim/handles from fading in the sun in the first place.
Anyone have any recommended products to detail/clean/protect the black plastic door handles on XLT models? I'm assuming the same product can be used for the plastic on the sideview mirrors. If not, rec's on something for that would be much appreciated too. Thanks!

Thanks for that. R-Pods are also on our list in the bunkhouse model (193, I think) in case we have a second kid or if the little one wants one of his friends to tag along.
If you don't mind me asking, how much is the hitch weight on your rig empty vs. fully loaded? Since I'm new to the whole...
Great info! Thanks! That's a nice little setup there.
I'm on the side that something under 20 ft and less than 5,000 gross weight should be fine for this truck. But after reading some of the posts on this and other threads, I can't help but hesitate before committing to something to haul...
Thanks for the input. A couple of questions: What have you towed in the past (just curious since I'm trying to research TT's)? And, have you towed up hills/grades? If so, how does the Ranger handle those with the load in tow?
Hey, all. Coming back on to this thread to see if anyone has had some meaningful experience towing a TT with their new gen Ranger.
Wife and I are planning to purchase our first TT within the next 6 months or so. I don't have a ton of experience towing TT's, but I do have experience towing...
Very nice! I just got my truck and am in the market for a tonneau cover. So, naturally, my eyes went straight to your cover. What brand/model is it? How do you like it?
Nice trailer! Wife and I are thinking of buying our first trailer to tow our new Ranger (XLT, Supercrew, FX2 package). The Geopro 16BH is on our shortlist of TT's that we're interested in. We're trying to keep the gross weight of the trailer under 5,000lbs. How does the Ranger do towing your...
Great shots and really nice set up. Just got my truck this week and I’m looking for a soft tonneau cover for it that won’t prevent me from using a rack system similar to Yakima. Do you (or anyone for that matter) know of a soft tonneau system that still allows for rack installation?
I don't love the auto start/stop, but I don't hate it either. Our other car is a Prius so I guess I'm just fairly used to the feature. If it's going to save me even a nickel in gas, I'm gonna leave it and shut it off as appropriate. The tuck still kicks a--! Happy tuckin', y'all!
