  1. P0299 Code and Ruined Vacation From GFB Diverter Valve

I appreciate all of the insightful answers. For my own peace of mind I wouldn't tow anything that close to the towing maximum capacity of my vehicle. To each his own that's what makes this a great country. Cheers to all

  8. Tail light mishap UPDATE

I'm going to go to the grocery where I think it happened and see if the height and all measures the same as a shopping cart height. Didn't really think of that. Really pops my cork. My truck looks nearly new and then this kind of crap happens. (*&^% Washington drivers. UGH

Installed the new unit. It was a bit fiddly putting the BLISS in place but all in all pretty straight forward. Looks perfect and the fitment was right on the money.
  10. Window Sticker MPG, ha, just an estimate

  12. Dakota Rides Again?

I served my tool and die apprenticeship in a job shop in Ohio. We reworked the stamping dies for the bed and tailgate to accept the wood panels. Also the gas cap opening was changed from the left side of the bed to the right side. Don't know why. We subcontracted that job from second tier...
  13. Dakota Rides Again?

I might buy one if it's not an under powered unibody. Plus it would have to look similar to what is shown in this link and not like that ugly as sin last model they built
  14. First Snow Experience

I had a 1970 fastback Mustang with traction bars on it and that was the best car in the snow. I couldn't believe how great it was. We lived in a rural area and I had to go to work early and our area of the neighborhood depended on a private plow outfit. I've driven that car out pushing snow all...

  16. Finally got to check out a gen 6 Ranger

Friday while having my 2019 Ranger serviced at the dealer I got an up close and personal look at the Gen 6. Really nice truck and while I didn't get to drive it I was not so enamored that I would trade mine in for it. Cabin seems a bit more refined and the thought of a turbo charged 6 banger is...

  19. Ford Ranger EV Seemingly Confirmed As First Low Cost Vehicle

FFS Ford still isn't building Rangers in big numbers as it is. Drive past the Chevy and GMC lots and they seem to have a rather large inventory. WTF
