I want a basic dashcam just for front viewing I'd like it to have nice definition better than 1080. I ordered a Donger kit to pull the power from the autodim mirror. That looks pretty sweet so what cams are you guys using. Prefer to stay under $200.00
I got mine back two days ago and it's shifting fine. Even when new the truck would occasionally shift weird. The 10R80 isn't the smoothest shifting unit anyway so there's that.Mine was worse when it was below about 40 degrees so this morning it was 28 here so I took it out to see what it would...
Seems fine. Drove around this morning and no delayed shifts or unseemly wonky stuff. Hopefully all is well. Just taking a wait and see attitude about it. It's still the best looking thing on the road. Except of course any 1970 red Mach 1
Finally have my Ranger back from the dealer yesterday. The 10R80 cratered in November. Dropped it off on Nov.11 so it was nearly nine weeks. While the work seemingly is good I didn't have the greatest experience with the dealer service department. They did a total rebuild which included the...
Same here but if it pukes again it's gone. Unfortunately it seems all the auto makers have crappy transmissions. . Maybe I'll get an older SUV and get a Ranger like my old one say a 99 or 2000. I don't know
Finally got a loaner from my dealer. 2025 Bronco sport. the 3 cylinder turbo is pretty peppy for what it is. Nice comfortable little rig. I'm gonna have it a while so will see how living with it goes. So far I like it. Except for the old time paint scheme the white grille looks cheap to me
At about 28,000 it started with delayed/hard shift from first to second only when it was below 40 degrees. All last summer it was fine all the time. In late September on colder mornings it started hard/delayed shifts again and in 3rd to 4th as well. Took it to the dealer they said it needs to be...
After all was said and done the truck sits at the dealer right now waiting for a transmission rebuild. All this talk about it has to learn and the fluid needs to be changed and put in this additive is a bunch of Hooey. Ford designed a piece of shit transmission using cheap parts. I'm not happy...
I'll most likely keep the Ranger until the new Ram Mid size is released. From all I see it's going to look better than anything on the market now except for the 5th gen Rangers. The new Ranger body style looks like the F150. The Toyota looks like it's gonna puke the engine out the ridiculous...
I'm considering trading my Ranger when I get it back from the transmission repair. Am I nuts for trading this pretty much (except for the aforementioned transmission repair) trouble free rig for a 2022 F150 or maybe even a brand new one. Have the 10R80 transmissions in the F150 been ironed out...
Trust me it will crater on you for sure. Mine started just like that only when it was cold but has gotten progressively worse and is now in the shop to be rebuilt or replaced
