So I finally got my dealer to agree that I could ue my 42,000 points to put towards the pivot tool box. So, from those who have this, which side did you go with and why. i can see the driver side being easier to get into but I know this is the side where the power outlet would be should I ever...
Found it. Thank you so much. I am going to use this when I bring the truck in next time. It never made sense to me that I push auto temp and then I have to push the schedule button.
and yeah, when I get the same story you did, how do we complain?
Amen. Can you tell me where it says this in the manual? Mine says less than that.
And yeah, one of the reasons I bought this vehicle was the automatic temperature control. Auto means auto, not having to push buttons to turn on or off the screen. That is semi auto.
Thanks for all the replies.
I ended up calling my salesman who did some checking for me. Called me back and said the points can be used for accessories. Gave the name of the person in parts to call and get it done. I wrote the names down and then left the Post IT somewhere I can't find...
Any chance you can point me to that ad saying points can be used for accessories? I'll look myself as well.
Found something on the Ford site. Hopefully this will work. Says points can be used for service, parts, accessories.....

Thanks -
Had the Ranger in to get the taillight recall checked out. While there, I went into the parts department and was going to order the pivot storage box with my 42,000 points. Parts/accessories guy says the points can only be used for service, no accessories. When I mentioned there are people...
Back when I was working in the area of paint refinishing we always use a small toothpick put down even smaller and applied multiple coats of touch up paint. Worked well. One thing that never works is to use the brush that comes with the touch up paint. It puts o. Too much paint and does so in a...
Just passing along. Sorry I can’t post the link but go to auto anything.com. They have a swing out toolbox for our Ranger. $199 and free shipping. They also have a 20% code for signing up. $160 isn’t bad. Looks to be the same as the Ford minus the indents in the side.
Try this link...
I got it back today. Son had to get some work done on his car and I really didn't need to be anywhere the past few days. Heading out tomorrow to beat the expected blizzard on Friday and Saturday
Stick it to the inside of the bed. The slightest movement sets it off. It is actually best to have it somewhere where it can't be easily seen. This way the alarm keeps going until it is either shut off by the owner or until the crook finds it and smashes it with his feet.

Here is my solution bought for a different reason though.
I ice fish quite a bit. Being as how the flip over ice shack is longer than the truck, I have to have the tailgate down. I was worried that while parked somewhere after fishing that someone might have an interest in my fishing shack...
I do have a cover so
I wasn’t too worried about them getting wet. I looked online just a short while ago and the price went up to $3.99. I have also seen these at Menards in the area where you walk in in the Knick knack area. Can’t recall the price.
Yeah, probably even worse saying I love that store for cheap stuff that won’t be used all that hard. And I was wrong on my description, it is powered by 4 AAA batteries, not AS batteries. My confidence level has dropped.
Hopefully Robin Electronics makes their touch lights again.
Can these motion activated lights be made to be just on/off and not motion activation? I know some can be. My worry with motion activated on is that I frequently have stuff in the bed and it invariably moves around. I would think this would run down the batteries kind of quickly.
And can you...
I have been hoping the Robin Electronics bed light system would become available again but no luck. With no response from the company as to when they might be made available again, I started looking for something else. I looked at the suggestions of others on this site and there are great ideas...
