I have a 2019 and my large hands made the install VERY difficult. I almost gave up after trying for about an hour(off & on) trying to put one of the hoses on. No space. I hope I dont have to reinstall another can. I know it wont be a Mishimoto.
I bought the Mishimoto also. Works great but yes, the hoses are brittle/cracked after 4 years. I wonder if cracked hoses can cause the engine to run rough or cause other issues. Anyone experience any issues?
Thanks for the informative responses. I'll leave it alone and focus on something else like transmission fluid level. Truck runs great, just have an itch to work on it
I have a 2wd Ranger that swayed side to side as well. I replaced the rear shocks with Rough Country N3 shocks & could feel the difference right away. MUCH better ride with minimal sway. They were about $100. I bought them for a temporary fix, but like them so much that I'll buy them again when...
I have yet to see 25mpg & I have a 2x4! Why is it that the FX4s seem to get GREAT mileage on avg. Even better than the 2x4s. What makes the difference?
Me too! Had a 2014 mustang that was fun to drive and actually pretty good on gas. Traded it for a 2019 crewcab 2WD and avg about 22mpg on summer blend(mostly hwy & mostly light foot). I have a Livernois tune and a Big Mouth air intake with an upgraded Fast Bits BOV. The dash read 2mpg better...
I just ordered this https://www.stage3motorsports.com/kick1920rngrppkit1-2019-2020-ford-ranger-kicker-ks-series-drop-in-plug-and-play-door-speaker-package.html. Has anyone else installed these speakers yet? Are the door panels aesy to remove? How do these speakers sound compared to stock?
Yes. Flat and incline. I thought it could be the traction control as well, however still does it with traction control disengaged. It seems to be more noticeable once truck is warmed up.
