Truck only has 15K and I’ve done oil changes every 5K. I had my buddy listen to it and he thinks it’s coming from the area around the blow off valve. It appears to only do it when the truck is cold. When fully warmed up it doesn’t do it

Im wondering this too. I had no idea we were not supposed to use a regular funnel. Somehow I doubt the “techs” at the dealership are using paper funnels on our trucks.

As far as those wondering, the funnel was clean of debris before I used it. I inspected it. But, I did not know we are not supposed to use funnel on these trucks. Oil used is 5W-30.

I did stick a funnel down there but I didn’t add much pressure. Damn now I’m worried lol

So after I finished doing my oil change today, I did a few revs of the engine and noticed it was making a pretty loud “clicking” type noise. I took a video of it and it’s pretty noticeable.

Mine was missing the damper when I bought. I called Ford and threw a fit. Needless to say, I never did receive that damper.

Tell me about man. I definitely DID NOT want a black truck, but it was literally the last one on the lot when I bought it. It had everything else I wanted so I bought it. Luckily, she's almost never in the sun. At home I park inside the garage, and at work we have a parking garage.

Next month I will have one year of ownership with my Ranger and 15K miles. Just wanted to post some photo's of when I brought it home, and what she looks like now. Really the only other thing I want next is the Raptor grill, and rock sliders and I think I am done with exterior mods.
