This isnāt true. They do weigh more, but double is not even close to accurate. The popular Duratrac tires in a 265/70-17 weigh 50lbs in load E and 44lbs in a P-metric size.
Anyone running the BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 34x10.5-17s on either stock, or after market wheels?
Would love to know what suspension setup you are running, wheels specs, and if you modified the body at all.

It says 6 on the link you provided. You are looking at consumer ratings. I donāt trust those. They are also only comparing to other all-seasons. Again, itās not even close when it comes to winter driving.
If you want objective ratings, go to tire rack and see what they rate them at. Hint: itās not even close between true winter tires and all-seasons. Winter tires rate between 9-10 on snow and ice, all-seasons would be lucky to rate above a 7, most good ones are at a 6.5. You have four points of...
