I’m rubbing slightly with a +35 Toyo at3, you are gonna rub with 285. You might get away with it if you use a tire that runs narrow-BFG at, or Goodyear Duratrac. Might as well just run aftermarket crash bars and save on the labor of two different trips to the shop.
I’m actually in Sacramento, bought in in Elk Grove though. Those Black Rhino Stadiums are +35. Slight rub on full lock in reverse towards passenger side. K02s and Duratracs might clear as I here they are narrower. I’m gonna replace the crash bars. Quote from 4wheelparts was $725($200 of that is...
Took advantage of Black Friday deals:
Black Rhino Stadium 17x8 et35
Toyo Open Country ATIII 285/70-17
Fox 2.0s
Ford Performance Flash
AWE exhaust
ReTrax bed cover
GoRhino RB20s
Even if they charge $100 an hour that’s still only $600-$700. I think these guys charge $90 and hour plus the alignment. I’d say it’s a 5 hour job tops. That gets me to the $525 quote.
I think you are correct. I think you can even get away with just pushing the intrusion beam forward. Your wheel’s offset and width will also factor into the equation.
