I first tried the headlights and then went to the horn.
I also was clicking the lock and unlock button on the fob.
About 45 seconds the truck woke up! It didn't stay asleep as long as the first time.
Truck alarm goes off when truck wakes up.
The first time it happened to me, first thought was...
Well, it happened again! Did it at the school parking lot picking up my girl.
This time I started flipping switches and it woke right back up!
Cranked right up, guess its something I will just have to live with.
Thanks for all the information.
I will see if I can find where I read that and share it with you all.
I want to say it was a Ford article.
Just want to keep informed on the maintenance, I love this truck and would like to
Keep her running as long as I can!
Hello all,
I read somewhere that Ford recommends changing the filter screen in the oil line delivering oil to
the turbo's at 30.000 miles??
Has anyone else seen this or heard of this or has done this procedure?
Just trying to learn more about it.
Thanks

Reason for the concern, I don't trade vehicles often. I run them as long as I can.
Wet belts just seem to be a bad idea. I love the Range, just want to keep it as long as I can.
I read somewhere here that car makers don't want you keep them too long! it's bad for business!
I get that but, when...
That would be good to know.
I will look into that a little more.
Maybe that is why I could not find anything here on it.
The trans problem is enough to make me want to trade it!
Hello all,
I was surfing around Y tube and came across a bunch of videos on wet rubber timing belts!
(A rubber timing belt that runs through or exposed to oil)
I understand that is what the Rangers have! Has anyone had any time belt issues?
I did a search and did not find anything on it here...
I usually running in hot(90º+) high load environments. This last summer I was in Moab climbing up and down various rocky canyons it made me wonder if a intercooler would help with some of the complaining the truck seems to do when it is hot.
Guess we will find out.
It for sure helped mine, we...
It was worth it for me. My end goal is to do a tune, and I know that to get the most out of the tune I would need a few bolt on items. so, I started with the MBRB dual exhaust and then to the CVF down pipe.
From there I saved up and did the Mitsi airbox, pipes, intercooler and blow off valve...
Sorry, I forgot to update my post!
I did get a tune, but badranger made me a hell of a deal on the Revelution tune! (well, I still had to get it programmed for my mods!) He decided to leave us Rangers and step up to the F150.
Wow! what performance diffence! Well worth it! I did have to give up a...
I think your situation is different.
I tried to unlock the truck and it was dead.
I had to use the key to open the door and when I did get the door open, the whole truck was dead as if there was not a battery hook to it. NO lights, no bell, nothing!
I put the key in and try to start and...
Blue streak
When it first happened, I knew it was not a battery issue. I thought i may have hooked the battery tender on the wrong side of the battery monitor and that may have caused my issue.
Airline tech has it explained in full detail.
Awesome fourm! Awesome members!
Glad I found this place.
In to big of a panic to think about trying the app.
I did think about it later but I figured if there is no power in the truck the app probably wouldn't have worked anyway.
Maybe It won't happen again! At least not when I am out of town...

Yes sir scary when you are 2 hours from home! For sure.
Mine came back on after about 10 mins of scrambling try to figure out what to do
or who to call? Felt helpless when you are that far from home!
At least Airline tech has given me a little comfort explaining the cause.
