Don't beat yourself up, you would think a 40k truck would last, unfortunately, in 2026 its close to impossible to buy quality in vehicles. I really don't know what im going to do after my Ranger. I hate all modern vehicles for quality and cheap plastic.
This is something I'm worried about. Im going to have to do the 60k mile service. The trucks running fine as is... I swear if they screw it up ill be pretty mad.
I made an appointment for an oil change, when I dropped it off I told them to install this part and to call me when it’s done. They had it for one day, as I previously bought the part and brought it in. They charged me like 200$ or whatever an hour of labor was, can’t remember but not significant.
confused and frustrated. Just got home from a drive home from work, the surge/bucking is starting to come back. I’m confused because I’m positive that the new part is what installed instantly fixed the problem, night and day. Why would that same part go bad so fast?
Update:
The dealership fixed the ford pass connectivity settings by installing a new battery. They told me that for the connectivity settings to work the battery must be greater than 80% charged.
Do I think that is 100% correct? No.... but it did fix it and now my ford pass app is working so idk.
Hello, I have my truck in the dealer now to fix my Ford Pass Connect. In the Ranger itself, every time I try to turn on the connectivity settings, it fails. I have almost no faith in my Ford dealership to fix this. Assuming they can't, are there any other options to remote start my truck?
I...
About to schedule an oil change, I'm at about 42k miles. Should I be doing anything else other than "the works"?
Other then my AC the truck is running great.
I tried looking for other threads but came up empty for 40k.
