Has anyone tried these yet? I’ll never go off-roading and rather have less wheel hop in rain maybe?? Heck even get hop on dry when pulling into traffic. And I assume 4x4 is only good in snow to prevent binding I assume?

just not a fan of these stock dynaPro ATM tires. Maybe it’s me ha.

If you will never be off pavement, why an all terrain tire????????

Should be looking at all season tire.

And FX4 if you will never be off road?

nope don’t have FX4 package. Just 4x4.

those Cont tires are typically very easy AT tires and I want really good snow performance too.

How did you get hankook on non fx????

I got bridgestones on my 4x4.

Well, if AT is what you are after, the best tires i have had in the snow were the Falken Wildtrack or whatever they sre called. Kinda agressive, but rode nice and ate up snow.

Did you get rear locker?

Yeah mine came factory with an 18” upgrade. Unfortunately no locker.

don’t want a traditional AT tire. The one I linked to is pretty smooth.

no experience with continental.

my F150 had Goodyear Wrangler SA as OEM tire. those were really good in the snow.

I also have used the Cooper Discoverer and General Grabber and where both very good in the snow.

I just ordered a set for new wheels so I will let you know in a week or two. I really like the way they look and they have received great reviews.

First impressions is that I am very pleased with these tires.
Very quiet, handles well, and look great.

I have not tried the Continentals, but they are a highly rated tire, you could not go wrong in running them. You might also want to look into Pirelli Scorpion ATR, which have a higher rating for snow traction as well as ride comfort compared to the Continentals. Music lovers will also like to know that the Scorpions, despite the menacing name, are also highly rated for their quiet ride, the better to hear the B&O!

I am still running the stock Hankooks on my FX4 Lariat, but I will change them out for Scorpions come spring.

Happy trails!

N.B.: I am referencing ratings of All-Terrain Truck tires by Consumer Reports, which I find to be reliable.
