  1. Opinion on stock Dynapro 18” including snow use

Yeah I was in 4high so I bought a set of the Coopers actually (at3-s4) instead. They don’t look as aggressive as I was thinking. But in real life and mounted they look pretty good I have to admit, and my first white raised lettered tires too. right away I noticed that the truck rides...
  2. Opinion on stock Dynapro 18” including snow use

We had our first snow of the season. Not as much as you. About 6-8 inches over night.... the stock hankooks did really good. Except for climbing up my driveway unplowed. Could only get up about 1/3 of the short 3 car length driveway. not sure what tires to buy if any. Hmmm
  3. Opinion on stock Dynapro 18” including snow use

Yeah except I’m okay if giving up tread wear nets me improved rain traction. Snow should be great with them. hopefully won’t ride worse. the DynaPro tires I believe are much harder hence longer life. if I get about 30k on them I’ll be fine as long as it’s still legal tread at lease turn...
  4. Opinion on stock Dynapro 18” including snow use

I bought a set of KUMHO ROAD VENTURE AT51 in stock 18ā€ 265/60-18. came in today but haven’t picked them up yet. Most likely not until Saturday. But will try to sooner. the local shop who I trust said they are amazing for my use - but will wear fast he said.
  5. Michelin Tires

So I have the Hankook dynaPro stock 18 in 4x4 I’m looking for a less AT like tire but good in snow. To boost ride and maybe mpg. Looking at the Defender and Goodyear WeatherReady just was afraid they would be out of place on a truck.
  6. Opinion on stock Dynapro 18” including snow use

Again thanks everyone— I wanna throw a wrench into this lol. how bad would these be on a Ranger? I’ll most likely never be off road. Goodyear AssuranceĀ® WeatherReady
  7. Opinion on stock Dynapro 18” including snow use

Yeah I may just hold off since it’s already November and snow may come early ha. I’d buy the the Goodyear’s this week, but my concern is noise, stiffer ride, and drop in mpg. I know I know - not trying to be that guy. thanks everyone
  8. What’s with all the Ranger hate reviews?

That YouTube reviewer typically only likes Toyota products. And isn’t fond of trucks or rather doesn’t use different logic when reviewing cars / suvs / trucks. That and I’ve watched many many of his reviews most are decent in full BUT always whinny and kinda not a car guy mentality. I’ve...
  9. Opinion on stock Dynapro 18” including snow use

Just curios what people’s opinions are on the stock Hankook 265/60-18 are? Not expecting snow grip and safety. But are they good or omg what did I do wrong moment ha. don’t really want to replace them. But looking at Revo3 or Goodyear Duratrac in STOCK size ā˜ŗļø any insight would be great.
  10. Continental TerrainContact

Yeah mine came factory with an 18ā€ upgrade. Unfortunately no locker. don’t want a traditional AT tire. The one I linked to is pretty smooth.
  11. Continental TerrainContact

nope don’t have FX4 package. Just 4x4. those Cont tires are typically very easy AT tires and I want really good snow performance too.
  12. Continental TerrainContact

In stock 18 https://www.continentaltire.com/product/terraincontact-22560r17-99h Has anyone tried these yet? I’ll never go off-roading and rather have less wheel hop in rain maybe?? Heck even get hop on dry when pulling into traffic. And I assume 4x4 is only good in snow to prevent binding I...
  13. Last Gen vs 2019 Ranger visual comparison

okay I won’t be very popular here but... I love the Ridgeline! It was all the truck I need. Carried over 1500 pounds of brick or stones for home projects. Ride was smooth and handled better than some cars. Best midsize truck imho but why do I have a ranger. The bad imho with the Ridgeline...
  14. Last Gen vs 2019 Ranger visual comparison

I think the tail lights remind me of a mid 70’s era (I think) f100 Or 150. Especially the turn signal being yellow led width is much narrower than my 2017 Ridgeline that I traded for this.
  15. Close to pulling the trigger. But unsure of which 4x4 and trim

Hey everyone.... sorry in the delay but didn’t want to jinx myself ha. Yeah I went with the Lariat ā€œstrippedā€ model. It has the factory drop in liner which I actually like! 265/60-18 tire upgrade? And towing kit. And sorry about the fx4 questions. And thanks for the information and...
  16. Close to pulling the trigger. But unsure of which 4x4 and trim

Got and thanks. But both Rangers are 4x4 it’s just that the xlt has fx4 package and the Lariet has standard normal 4x4 option.
  17. Close to pulling the trigger. But unsure of which 4x4 and trim

so I’m very close to leasing a Ranger... the dealer I’m gonna use has two models I want - which is the problem ha. I can’t afford a Lariet with FX4 package etc etc - option 1: XLT with FX4, 302a, Sport Package and sync3 oh and blacked running boards etc etc - option 2: Lariat ā€œstripperā€...
