I took my Ranger out 4x4ing.. I felt I was a bit timid. New truck and all, didn’t want to hurt it and you can’t see the rocks! I ended up hitting a pretty big rock, bent my muffler into my fender.

I decided to solve the I can’t see problem with some tech! I just want to see my tires!

problem solved!! A bit much, I know... that’s just how I roll :)

That's one heck of a set up,I think you coved all your bases with all those cameras lol. I'd be more worried about scratching my paint (especially black) than I would a bent tail pipe. :)

No, I wanted at least 2 cameras, that can stream live video to the cab. It doesn’t really work with a GoPro..

I tried a bunch of different cameras, my requirements were;

real time, high quality video (no lagging)
Temporary mounting solution.
No wires...
don’t want to use my phone.

It’s actually a pretty tough bill. I went through a bunch of different cameras. The nice parts about the ones I settled on is... BAM, they are on.. no messing around with WiFi, Bluetooth crap.

I think one of the wireless cams took me like 10 mins to get it all working with my phone.. not the experience I was looking for.

it works pretty well, I gotta take it out now and try to knock the cameras off.

I assume you already had those cameras laying around? Because a GoPro would have been a much simpler solution.
I looked at GoPros.. seems a few issues.. they don’t do “real time video” real well. Mostly for watching your action after the fact.. Preview Mode? More than one? They are kinda expensive too. GoPros wouldn’t cut it :)

Fair enough, however, I will say that my hero 7 black has flawless real time viewing. Nice setup nonetheless!

To your phone, right? One at a time?
