Very nice Dave. Too bad I had to cancel my trip last year to Sedona. It's on my bucket list still. Maybe when I come down next year? Have you ever driven to the bottom of the Grand Canyon via Peach Springs off of Rt 66? That I want to do for sure some time. Enjoy your trip!!
Freiburger and Finnegan have driven to the bottom of the Grand Canyon in the ROADKILL Raunchero.

That piece of ROADKILL history now resides at the Old Montana State Prison and Car Museum in Deer Lodge, Montana.
After the RK history lesson lol.
Have Fun Dave!

We headed out early (I'd like to have left around sun up but that wasn't happening lol) and went hiking on a trail we haven't done. Someone told us about this one where it takes you around and behind Cathedral Rock so you get a whole different view. This one's called the Baldwin trail and there's a connecting trail called Templeton which takes you up to Cathedral Rock. It starts off flat and winds around a creek then you start going uphill for about 1.5 miles. I'd say it's an Easy - moderate trail and Annie really didn't have much trouble which was good.

This is the back side of Cathedral Rock from the start of the trail.

About 1/2 -3/4 of a mile you take the Templeton trail up.

Some sites along the way. There's some crazy nice (and expensive) houses here.

Here you can see the white water lines on the rocks from when Sedona was underwater millions of years ago.

Once you reach Cathedral Rock you're at the base and can still climb higher. Annie wasn't having any part of it and after I did it there's no way she could've made it. Bob @Bob902 & Mark @MXGOLF you guys would really love this and if you're even going to come out here let me know and I'll meet you guys pr anyone else for that matter. It wasn't all that bad, a little challenging coming down but you can just butt slide some area which made it easy.

This takes you all the way up to the top.

You're in a tight notch here and it's pretty slick but there are some smaller rocks in the middle to get traction on.

Here's a 360 view from the top. I had to shorten the original video into three separate ones because it was too long to load.

Which other trails did you do? I'm not sure Annie will be up for much more than Devils bridge on Friday (she won't go up to or over the bridge she's afraid of heights lol) but I might drop her off to shop more and go back out. I've done all the popular ones (Cathedral, Bell, Doe, Fay) but wouldn't mind trying a few more. If you'e ever back this way let us know.

I’m in the VOC, I’ll keep a lookout for your Ranger. Make sure to grab a bite to eat at G’s Burgers in Cornville, best burgers around these parts! Take the Ranger up to chicken point, great views. Follow a pink jeep tour up, they get there about ten minutes after the hour, then it will be smooth sailing.

We're always looking for a good burger place and I just looked them up and they're only 4 miles down the road from us. We'll probably stop there Thursday after we do the train ride. I'll have to look up chicken point. The only day I might have a little time will be Friday after hiking. Thanks Matthew!

If you can't find chicken point trail info, it's the same trail as the devils staircase. Submarine rock it off to the left. All doable in your Tremor. I haven't done the staircase in awhile, it might be pretty sketch. Have fun!

We did Devil’s Bridge and Cathedral Rock then a side trip to visit friends in Williamson. A little rain here and there but great weather for ducking into Picazzo’s for food and spirits. A great vacation for sure, let you know when I roll through again.

I've been to Sedona years ago and all your pics make me want to go back again!

It's only an 1800 mile/26 hour drive from here 🤪

When we were there we rented a Wrangler from Barlows and drove all the trails on the map they provided. It was a great time.

I don't think my Ranger would have any trouble on any of the trails we drove that trip.

The sketchiest one was the staircase and that wasn't really all that bad.

And the Wrangler didn't have TRAIL CONTROL 😝

I'm actually kind of curious how all the trail modes would work on those trails.

Road Trip! lol

I tried the trail control with my '19 on several of the trails here. I'll admit when I first got the truck I thought they would be sort of a "gimmick" and not really work all that great. Boy I was wrong it''s a really nice feature being able to set the speed low (3-4 mph) and just crawl up a steep hill or down a steep slope and not worry about juicing the gas over a large bump. The only thing is the grinding noise from the ABS because it sounds like you're grinding rocks in your rotors.
