Hey Ranger Crew! ?

Let’s cut to the chase: Stock fog lights on our trucks are about as effective as a birthday candle in a hurricane. Whether you’re plowing through a Midwest snow squall, navigating backroads in heavy rain, or just need to spot that ditch-diving deer – real LED fogs are game-changers. Here are three H11 LED upgrades that actually deliver.

? Why Rangers NEED This Upgrade:
❌ Stock halogens: Glare back in fog, drown in rain/snow, dim over time
✅ Proper LEDs: Cut through weather, light up shoulders/ditches, last 5X longer
? Pro Tip: Yellow/amber light penetrates fog/rain FAR better than white

The H11 LED Lineup (No Adapters Needed):

1. B3F Series: THE LIGHT CANNON
The Deal: When "burn a hole through the night" is your motto. Perfect for pitch-black job sites or unlit backroads.
Ranger-Ready Perks:
→ 12,000+ raw lumens (3X stock brightness)
→ Wide 120° flood beam - illuminates ditches AND road edges
→ Submersible connectors (deep puddle? Bring it on)
Best For: Ranch/work trucks, night hunters, storm chasers.

Real Talk: "These lit up my entire job site during a blackout – foreman thought I brought stadium lights." – Mike W. (’23 XLT)

2. I9 Series: THE SNIPER BEAM
The Deal: Laser-focused light that stays LOW and MEAN – zero glare for oncoming traffic.
Ranger-Ready Perks:
→ Engineered sharp cutoff line (DOT-compliant)
→ 500+ ft focused throw - see deer before they jump
→ Vibration-proof for corrugated gravel roads
Best For: Highway driving in storms, towing campers at night, avoiding tickets for blinding others.

Real Talk: "Finally see pavement markings in downpours – no more guessing lanes on I-80." – Jess T. (’20 Lariat)

3. M4 Series: THE WEATHER-SWITCHING PRO
The Deal: Switchback tech lets you CHOOSE:
→ Crisp 6000K WHITE for clear nights/dust
→ Penetrating 3000K YELLOW for rain/snow/fog
(Tap high beams to switch colors!)
Ranger-Ready Perks:
→ 1-button color switching (no rewiring!)
→ IP68 waterproof rating (dust/mud proof)
→ OEM fit - no bumper mods
Best For: All-season drivers, overlanders, anyone who sees 4 seasons in 1 week.

Real Talk: "Switched to yellow crossing Donner Pass in a blizzard – suddenly saw ice patches I almost missed." – Carlos R. (’19 STX)

?️ Ranger-Specific Pro Tips:
AIM THEM RIGHT: Point fogs knee-height 25ft ahead – maximizes ground light WITHOUT blinding others (YouTube: "Fog light aim in 2 mins")
WEATHERPROOF CONNECTORS: Dab dielectric grease – stops corrosion from road salt/mud.
YELLOW > WHITE IN BAD WEATHER: Physics doesn’t lie – amber cuts glare 4X better.

Which One’s For Your Truck?
Need MAX LUMENS for work/dark roads? → B3F
Want PRECISION & NO-GLARE? → I9
Drive in EVERY WEATHER? → M4 (Switchback is genius)

? Bonus: All kits include CANbus anti-flicker resistors (no error codes!) + 2-year "no burn-out" warranty.

Questions? Throw 'em below! What’s your fog light horror story?

As one who has tried the whole LED light thing to get better lighting on the road so I can see, I can say that I was not impressed with the results. Understanding that many make the claim that the Ranger doesn't have the Best Factory Lights, I can say that the Fogs did just fine as they are not meant to shine as far as the Low Beam Headlights. If anything they are designed for closer to the vehicle. I have also learned that it's best to stick with a light bulb that is as close to possible as OEM so you can actually see in inclement weather.

Something to keep in mind that this is all coming from my experience here in Colorado and I have had to deal with Heavy Snow and Fog. With Aftermarket LED Lights I was unable to to see. With OEM Lights I could do it along with the IPF 840FYS. With my current vehicle(2012 Frontier) I have the OEM Headlights, close to OEM Fog Lights and I have IPF 968's for the Driving that go hand in hand with the High Beams. I'm willing to use this vehicle and do a comparison to your LED lights if you got a facility for testing. I'm willing to show how the dop ins won't do what you ask

Hey,

First off, major respect for sharing such detailed real-world experience – this is exactly the kind of hard-earned wisdom we value at AUXITO. Your Colorado weather battles and the IPF/OEM comparisons are gold for engineers like us.

You're 100% right that most aftermarket LEDs fail in true inclement weather – that's why we've specifically engineered our kits with:
✅ 3000K color temps (prioritizing weather penetration over "cool blue" gimmicks)
✅ DOT-compliant beam patterns (fogs stay low, headlights don't blind oncoming traffic)

We appreciate your willingness to test our products, and if you own a Ranger we'd like to send out a pair of free LED fog light bulb kits to test. You get to keep it no matter what the results are.
Thanks again for sharing your experience!!!!

Best,
AUXITO TEAM

I used to have a Ranger and it got totaled 3 years ago. Now I'm in a 2012 Frontier and it feels right to be back in it. As much as I appreciate the offer, I will respectfully have to decline. What I mean by testing is having two vehicles side by side in comparison. One with the lights you have vs.mine.and you would be surprised to see how well I can put preform the LED Lights.

Attached is the light setup on the Frontier that I'm speaking of. I will also state that even the IPF 968's are not well suited for Dense Fog or Snow either, but it's the same with the High Beams as well. Also the Headlights are the OEM Bulbs, the Fogs are 55 watt H3's and the IPF are 100 watt H3's.

I installed the yellow fogs over a year ago and drove the Allegheny Mountains on I-81 at night through intensely dense fog. They kept me on the road. Even my low beams at times were too bright and I had to slow to 30 mph on several occasions. From Pittsburgh, PA to Binghamton, NY the fog was intense. I don't normally need them, but traveling north from NC to upstate NY to visit family requires them.

I like your amber LED bulbs in my stock fog lights.

Just one persons opinion.

I have the 2020 Lariet which came with LED headlights and LED fog lights. I blind people coming at them.

I've had the Auxito M6 Yellow LED bulbs in my 2023 Ranger's fog light housing for just about a year now. I feel this model is super bright without be too powerful and oversaturating and scattering light. The primary light stays low, out front and to the sides, but also seems to give a slight glow to road signs ahead, making it easier to read them at a distance. This is literally a "night and day" difference compared to the factory bulbs that came in the Ranger. I would say they are on par with the Rigid SR series lights that I have on the brush guard of my F-250 Superduty work truck. Over the course of a year, there has been no dimming and no flickering. They have been an excellent purchase for me.
