No matter what I do,,, I can't reach the finish line. 1st, I addressed the power. Then, I addressed the infotainment system. Lastly, I did the lights. But I still have 1) Suspension, 2) Tires & Wheels, 3) Amps, Speakers, & Sub, and 4) Bumpers... then I can rest.

Yeah right! nice adds, really like the radio and I have been looking at those receiver hitch light mounts, any dificulty getting to the hitch pin? and do the lights stick out from the bumper? are they on a seperate switch or tied into the reverse lights?

Also like your back seat driver, he looks happy! :)

Sorry for all of the questions, but me likey!

Did you buy that truck new? Just curious why you chose such an expensive version of this truck as the platform for such extensive modifications? It looks great, but will it still be a Rousch when you’re done, LOL?

The bracket is close to the hitch pin but there's still enough room (⅛") to get to it. The lights do stick out about 2½ inches. IDK if that's gonna be a problem or not. They are not wired to my reverse lights. I control them from my Auxbeam switch. And yes,,, Slobbers is very happy when he gets to drool all over my windows and headrests.

I bought it last June with 7k miles on it. Hands down,,, best truck I've ever owned. I guess I got into modding my truck because I wanted to enhance to ride. Then, things got outta hand and I started upgrading every part that I can to make the truck more convenient and more bulletproof. I did all the power upgrades for obvious reasons. I did the Linkswell because the Ford Sync3 System sucks so bad. I did the lights for better night vision and to blind A-holes that drive everywhere with their high beams on. I've already had to teach few dumbasses to turn their lights down. It works great. And I'm having train horns installed to blow bad drivers ear drums out. So far,,, almost everything I've done is reversible. The planned stereo upgrades will be hidden. The suspension, bumpers, and tires/wheels are the 3 things that might it look less "Roush". That's why I'm not sure about those upgrades. I might stop after the stereo upgrades. And,,, possibly just change the shocks to 2.5's...

Roush bronco/ranger 17” wheels are available ?..
IMG_1311.webp

These are my current favorite wheels overall..
they would keep to the roush branding if that was important to you.
17x8.5 +25 offset.
they’re a bit smaller.
the current Roush Ranger wheels are 18”?

amazing truck btw. Started out pretty unique and is becoming even more so.

The seat upholstery alone helps those trucks stand out. I think choosing a unique version of a vehicle as a starting point is awesome, if you ever get the opportunity to do so.
IMO roush was just giving a unique starting point for anyone who is lucky enough to own.
Did you sell the original roush cai for the ingen cai?.

Those are the wheels I want if I go to 17's.

I'm debating the merits of having a set of 17's in my garage with hardcore off road tires for the weekends -AND- keep my 18's for daily driving... just jack up the truck and slap the 18's back on after a Sunday of off roading. That could be a fun excuse to buy a new air compressor and a bunch of new air tools.

But I like my 18's. I might like them more wrapped in Toyo 32" - 305/60R18's. That tire is ¾" taller and ⅞" wider than my current tires.

Funny you mention seats. I thought my Audi S5 had the best leather seats ever. But these Katzkins are right up there. I've driven 10 hours comfortably in those seats. Excellent quality leather.

I did sell the Roush CAI. I loved the look of it and it really fit the truck. But I'm going for performance under the hood,,, not looks. There wasn't a noticeable difference in Horsepower with the Injen. But there was a noticeable improvement in Throttle Response and Torque with the Injen. I do and don't regret the change. I almost thought about keeping it so I can switch it back some day. But then I decided to sell it to buy other parts.

And, Yeah... I consider every vehicle on the road to be a "good starting point". Most people buy a new car or truck off the dealers lot and think, "I'm all set with my perfect new ride." SMH ?‍♂ I treated Ford line workers in physical therapy for years. If you think those vehicles are "complete" when they roll off the line... some might be. Most aren't. When I bought my Roush I drove it to Florida and back thinking this truck is tight & awesome. Gave it to my mechanic when I got back and paid him to "nut & bolt" the entire truck. He found 13 loose chassy bolts. The transmission cross member bolts were finger tight. There were over a dozen missing clips and fasteners along with poorly connected and poorly secured wires. The transmission wasn't filled to the correct level. The truck became a really good starting point for all my build ideas once it was made roadworthy and safe. I'm not trying to ruin the Roush truck. I can go back on just about everything I've done so far. But i'm building it to enjoy it. And I am enjoying the hell out of it. I would call it,,, a "Driver's Truck"

And it's possible that I get obsessed with things and go overboard sometimes. You should see the firearms I've modded out... or my '06 Roush Mustang that was modded with a bunch of 1-off hand made parts (still searching for pics of that car)... or the cheesecakes I make because my GF bet me I couldn't. I may be touched by OCD.
