The dumbest (and most fun) thing I did as a kid was to make "pop can cannons" - taped 3 pop/beer cans together (cutting the top and bottom out of the top 2), punched a small hole on the bottom one, shoved a tennis ball in the top and then squirted some lighter fluid in the hole and held a match next to the hole - BOOM! They were a BLAST!

The good old days!
I swiped a can of dad's cigarette lighter fluid and doused a tennis ball in it, lit it and smacked it with a raquet. Home made meteor, was fun while it lasted, took longer to stomp out the burning lawn than the time it took to enjoy the light show lol

I've had a few pursuits looking like that, it's quite a sparkler show at night with several blown tires
Can't understand the thugs. Why don't they fill the tires with urethane/resin/rubber to avoid spiketraps and bullets to tires. Sure, it's less comfy and adds to the unsprung mass, but in their line of work it might not be the priority.

How to cook a wheel bearing.
Exactly.

I just hope the guy realizes that with a diameter difference that large on the sides of the rear axle, he won't be able to safely engage his locker.

Well often times it's a stolen or borrowed vehicle with the exception of drink drivers.

As far as the forethought with the tires, if common sense truly was common, we'd all have it.

He might have been driving it to the junkyard, anyway.

Yes, but he is in the passing lane....
Yes, he is but probably does not want to throw sparks onto the vegetation on the right shoulder I would say by the looks of things with the 4 ways on everything that he is a pretty safety minded person.
