Don't need to do any of that....Ford already knows how to build a proper street truck...
They already did it once...
And then Ram even did a proper job when they dropped a high performance Hemi in a short bed truck. GM tried when they threw a 454 in a short bed, and suceeded when they threw a Buick Grand National engine in an S-10.......those were all "sport trucks".
Just throwing some wide fenders on and lowering it does not qualify as a "sport truck"....you can do that to a 1992 Ford F-350 4 door Supercab and all you'd have is a funny looking F-350.

Trouble is, there’s probably a very limited, if any, UK market for such variants. Over here , UK! The Pick up is a Commercial Working vehicle for tradespeople or agricultural for farm yard work etc. Street Cruisers - you don’t see. I guess the 2024 MSRT Ford Ranger, with that bold front SUV style facia is aimed at those who want a pick up truck that’s not going to be put to work. Hey ho! I’m happy with mine though….

Diesel hp is deceiving, my 3500 Sprinter van 3.0 V6 is 188 hp but is super strong. 236 in a Ranger would be potent.

I've seen a few F150 lightnings here with ladder racks an tool boxes in the bed. My guess is they leased them in their business name an write it off an get to drive a sweet truck on the weekend. Granted it's limited in work applications but not for everyone.

If I put some racing stripes on Truck, does that make it a "racer" ??? OOOOH, I know, I'll install a roll bar in Truck.....makes it an automatic oval dirt tracker !!!

Maybe this will be the new truck for the Baywatch Reboot I'm waiting for!
