It's one of those automatic gates on a narrow track. In order to keep the track clean of debris, so that the runners don't skip off of them, they've zip-tied a paintbrush to the gate, so that it cleans the track every time it opens or closes.

Obviously, the truck owner had to put on a giant lift kit because the trailer was so tall.
