Hood accent strip?

Does anyone have the hood cowl strip graphics kit from Ford accessories? VKB3Z-6320000-A I have not seen any on the forums or Google with this on the Ranger yet.

I had the hood "landing strip" on my Trailhawk and really liked the look, especially on certain paint colors.

Took me a while to find it but here's a pic. I want to see it on more paint colors. The practical benefit is reduced hood glare off roading on steep inclines.

I think it would look real good on the white.

KnightRanger has black decals on his Ranger, not on the hood, but along the side & back panels. Looks great. That's why I think the hood decals would look good on the white. I don't know how to put his Ranger pic on here, but you can see it on the Oxford White Ranger thread.

I've been thinking of some kind of stripe also. My f150 was race red, and I loved the red and black contrast. Now that I've gone total shadow black, I'm not sure if adding red accents would look that good...

I do automotive vinyl wraps and I will be doing some hood design with brushed metal vinyl. I'll post it when I'm done.

I think it would look real good on the white.

I'm thinking so too. Flat black hood stuff from Ford, black kicker rock sliders from RRO, and maybe the black rocker armor from Ford. Or some combo like that.

It looks great! Kaltzbar has a thin red stripe on bottom of rocker panel. Someone else (can’t remember who) has red claw marks by the ?right headlight. Looks really good!

I think I saw that, actually. I think the more subtle approach to the red like that thin strip near the bottom would work better. I might just get the calipers painted race red and leave it at that.
