Substitute a CR2025 battery for a CR2032 in my bicycle light?

My bicycle safety light is designed for CR2032 batteries however all I have on hand are CR2025's. The CR2025's work but after a ride they go out and I'm assuming this is because of a lack of a snug contact.

I've heard they can be used in place of the CR2032's if you put a folded piece of aluminum foil on top of the battery to fill in the gap for the thinner CR2025's. Is this legit? and if so, is the foil placed on top of the battery as shown in the pick? How thick do you need to fold it up to make it snug enough? Thanks.

Safety light (edit).webp
Why not just find a CR2032? They sell them, like, everywhere.

This will work fine. I have used narrower batteries before in a pinch. It just won't last as long.

The seller shipped the light with the CR2025's in it which was all I had on hand and that was their mistake because it was designed for the 2032's so I figured I might as well use them since they were already in it. I picked up some CR2032's to replace the 2025's when they expire.
