It's a new iPhone 14 Pro. It opens the apps fine just not the notifications or my reminders on my locked screen. My 12 was the same way too.

? Now that I think of it maybe Apple hates my face.

Ive never seen them on one. Mine's a higher end Champion Triumph 40 safe and weighs 1,150lbs dry. I went with a regular S&G mechanical lock as they're pretty full proof. Ive had way to many problems over the years with electronic locks and once you do a dial a few times it's really quick to open one.
Mechanical for sure , BUT my old eyes cant focus very well in a rude awakening and the bio gave me a better chance to actually get to it in a huff , some of the higher end ones now "claim" to read through dirt , blood and sweat , if they use good ones for autos , might be ok , it would be incredibly freaking convenient , for sure ...

I fully expect a few tomatoes to be flung at this comment and it's ok because I love caprese salad though I digress; I prefer biometrics to "must be 13 characters with one capital letter, one symbol, one number, no repeating letters, nothing used in the last year, nothing referencing the BeeGees, no family names, no pet names, nothing funny, nothing memorable" password requirements.

My iPhone 14 Pro doesn’t recognize me unless I have my teeth in, funny I know but true story. Go ahead and have at the geezer jokes. That technology is expensive and with all of decontenting doesn’t make sense from a consumer side. Just think “oh crap I just got mugged and someone just disfigured your face. I have to get a hospital in a hurry and your vehicle tells you “sorry not recognized” , the technology is not there yet…

Which will be the only time that you actually come up with that password again!

I swear, all of this "cybersecurity" stuff does a hell of a lot better job at keeping ME out of MY stuff than keeping out the hackers.

Just use incorrect as your password. Then when you enter the wrong password it'll tell you what yours is. "Your password is incorrect".?

Sorry, but that password is too weak and needs to be stronger
