Bible Museum

We went to return the rental car this morning and they weren't open yet. It's inside the Hampton Inn Hotel so we were walking around and noticed they had a this Bible Museum room. I never knew there was such a thing but Annie said she's seen some before in Chicago. They had a pretty good size display on all the walls and a large glass case in the center of the room with all these old bibles.

Jesus was pro-defending yourself when the times dictated, but was not pro-aggression. When He sent his disciples out once He did mention they should go out armed, while another time He told them to take nothing with them...and then of course He did tell us to be prepared to turn the other cheek when we have been smitten.

I like to think Jesus would have me be prepared to protect myself and my family while maintaining an attitude of humility and forbearance, if that makes sense to ya.
