Does this harness have a remote wire to turn on the amp? If not what did everyone use to turn it on?
EDIT: just got it in the mail. Looks like the yellow wire is a switched 12v, I'll be using that.

Just wanted to confirm the Forscan setting changes the speaker level output of the factory audio system to line level. What if you are still driving speakers with it? Will they all get quiet? Or can I turn the rears to line level to drive a sub or amp, and keep the fronts speaker level?

Speakers will get quite. If you use the GUI option in Forscan it looked like you could turn line level on for Front, Rear or both. I didn't test it though because my sub box isn't here yet.

Just wanted to update and say the yellow wire labeled 12v switched on the no cut harness is NOT switched like the diagram says.

Thank you. Would appreciate you letting us know once you find out.

Would be awesome to keep the front powered and rear line level to drive a powered sub and amp for rear speakers, with an outboard Xover

Saves the hassle of having to amp the fronts and run wires, plus everything would be nicely integrated in the rear (without needing to buy speaker level to line level converters, one extra “thing” in the signal path).

Any update on this? I just bought my monoblock amp and waiting on my sub. Just want to add more low end and sticking with my stock speakers (for now). I buying a line out converter and wiring it to the rear speaker. Will I have the humming noise? Will the Forscan help in removing the feedback?

Why did you use two of the 1004 amps?
