Got the bumper, winch and lights installed today. What a pain it was to do by myself, but got it done! Swapping out the FOX 2.0 suspension for the OME tomorrow.

Also the friggin RCI skid plate mounts aren’t compatible with this bumper. So I’ll have to break out the cutting wheel and welder and make that work.

I’ll post better pics once everything is done!

Stitched on my new steering wheel cover from East Detailing. Install is straightforward, pop the two side clips holding on the airbag, undo the 50mm torx in the center, and the steering wheel pops right off! Then just sew on the cover. Only takes about an hour!

Did you just stitch it over the factory leather?

I've always thought the factory leather felt a bit "plasticky" and I wouldn't mind a thicker cover.

I'm just worried that I'd botch the stitching.

Yup, right over the factory wheel1 There's some nice double-sided tape holding everything in place too. It adds just enough thickness, and feels super nice now.

This is the 3rd one I've done so it's a little easier for me now. The stitching is SUPER easy, it's just time-consuming, especially your first time. Lots and lots of videos on youtube out there though.

Ordered some sliders finally. Hot Metal Fab has free shipping, so saves almost $450 over some of the other brands! Hopefully be here in 5 weeks.

I know both the other people on the forum running this bumper both have the ACC relocated, but I believe both of them had a relocation mount custom fabricated. I don’t have ACC so never looked into it.

Not relocated, but the bracket was modified.

Got the AuxBeam controller I've had sitting around for a few months finally wired up.

Not set 100% on this location. Might move it once or twice more before it finds it's a permanent home.

Finally got to take the new suspension off-road a little bit yesterday. I still think the FOX 2.0 are smoother, but hopefully, once I get some weight in the rear to load the 600lb leaf springs it will ride way better. Got stuck in some deep snow and got to test out the winch too!

Here are some better pictures of the new setup!

(T-minus 3 months until the Lone Peak canopy camper comes in!)
