Mrs Bowman says it looks great. just keep doing what you're doing.

@JimmyFD43 you got a link for the red knob covers?
Go to ESTY and type in your truck year and FORD RANGER, and all the accessories will magically appear....Gotta be magic...because I still have a hard time thinking about how a plane is able to fly....lol

Amazon, FedEx drivers, and I are on a 1st name basis because of all the deliveries I receive...several times a week. My much better half continues to ask, "why, why?' and my explanation, albeit true, of having had a poor childhood, just does not seem to get through to her. She keeps reminding me that there are wants and needs, and at my age, that explanation is way too old... pun intended...lol! I never had a truck until I retired and moved to NC and built a house. I then "needed" a truck! That's been 20 years, and I have "needed" 7 trucks since then. I have done the exact same add-ons to each one, and whoever gets it should either be very happy...or says...WTF... Another lol. With all this being said, I, being bored this morning, thought I would post some pics of what I have added since I bought it. I did a post about a center console post I had installed to carry my widdle 380,, and several responses came up with a myriad of reasons why it was not a good idea, and possibly a bad idea. I try and make a statement that what I add to my truck, and what I consider to be an appropriate firearm, having been a PO firearms instructor for over 30 years, is just something I deem fine for me, but it may not be suitable for others.

SO, here are the pics...

1. Tires...Sort of a funny story...to me at least. I shopped around for my truck, and the ONLY ones available were about a hundred miles away in Buford Ga, I asked my spouse to go with me, but as It was nasty weather, she declined. The only 4WD they had was this one, a 2022 XLT 4WD off-road. I am an instant gratification individual, which I freely admit, so I took it for a drive. It's lifted, but me being 6'4", no problem. I asked about the tires, and it seems someone who had bought a new Bronco wanted the tires and rims on this truck and the dealers did the switch. I like them!
2, Running Boards...I sent a picture of the truck to said spouse, and as always, she said NP. UNTIL i got home! It came with the original FORD RB'S, and when her 5'2" self with a new knee, attempted to "climb" in the lifted truck, Oh Well! She did make it, but she was, and still is, not happy! As the picture shows, I TRIED to gain a few inches by replacing the original RB'S with the ones now on the truck, to no avail! I sold (gave away) the RB'S for $150, and bought the new ones for about $300? Another Oh well....
3. SIDE MOLDING....I like the idea of protecting the doors as much as possible. The lift and the RB"S do a pretty good job, but there are vehicles that have doors that can still do damage. Perfect color match for Oxford White.
4. SIDE WINDOW DEFLECTORS...Inside the channel
5, HOOD DEFLECTOR....I used the one that has screws, as I do not trust just the 3M tape. I personally have never used the tape, and it may be just as good as the screws. Personal choice, as like most things in life.
6. FLOOR MATS... Kagu Black R1 . I first bought this brand for a new Jaguar, and REALLY liked them, so I got them for the Ranger...Perfect fit, nice looking ( I try to look at them as much as possible to get my money's worth lol), A little over $100 for the front only.
7. RANGER DECALS...Black front and back...Makes the RANGER stand out.
8. BACK-UP LIGHTS...I live in the mountains, and my driveway is a bitch....I found these 2-inch lights, Vspec, on amazon... and found the perfect place to install them. Just look under the truck and there is an easy place, completely out of the way on each side, to drill a hole. Plus, to me lol, they are not intrusive looking!
9. REAR VIEW MIRROR.....I found a clip-on rear view mirror, 11.8", that I like. If someone is concerned about the original mirror not functioning as far as rear headlight glare, then this is not for you. I seldom have passengers in my rear seats, so I removed the rear headrests for a better view. It's easy enough to put them back if the occasion arises. What a difference without them in the way!
10. SEAT COVERS...I purchase the red and black seat covers last year on Amazon to protect my Jag's leather seats from the dogs. GREAT investment. I sold the Jag and kept the covers, looking for someone to give them to. Just for the heck of it, I tried them in the RANGER, and VOLIA, great fit, not perfect, but in the high 90%. $200 front and back from INCH EMPIRE. Durable and well made.
11. SWINGOUT STORAGE BOX.....because of lack of storage in just about every truck I have owned, and I like a tonneau cover, hence, no toolbox, I have been using the SWINGOUT BOX. I was buying the ORIGINAL for about $190 on Amazon, until I found the same darn box, with the logo, for about $115, on EBAY, perfect fit. They supply self-taping screws, but our truck has predrilled holes that take a 6MM bolt. I had to buy a 6MM tap (3 bucks) and 3 6MM bolts from lows for a couple of bucks. I think it's more secure than the screws. One problem is the FORD TRI-FOLD tonneau...You have to lock down the tonneau and then swing in the box because the tonneau handles are about 3" too long...It works but you might not like it.
12. FRONT LICENSE TAG HOLDER. I like the idea of having my USAF plate on the front, so I found one on the Internet that was installed with the factory holes....Not cheap.
13. DASH KNOBS....Wanting a bit of color, I added the red rings from a seller on ESTY.
14. ANTENNA....I took off the HUGE 6"? ( anything over 3 1/2" is huge....lol,) and installed a 2"....Very easy, just unscrew the original and screw in the 2". I do not use AM/FM so it does not have an effect on my radio...I have tried it, and it seems to work ok.
15. 3RD REAR BRAKE/CARGO LIGHT....I installed LED bulbs (921-912). The RED flashes a few times before going solid RED. BIG difference in brightness and an easy install...4 screws....Another Amazon buy from LASFIT...
16. DOOR HANDLE SCRATCH PROTECTION.... GRAFKEN 4Pcs 3D Transparent Car Door Bowl Scratch Protector

Forgot to add...one of the best and most important ad-Ons:
Bushwacker 14099 Black Trail Armor Rocker Panel & Door Sill Protectors for 2019 Ford Ranger, 4pc Set
Nice looking truck and sometimes, especially in retirement, its time for wants and not just needs.
Maybe I missed it but I didn't see a tailgate damper in the pictures or mentioned.
There is a certain someone who would also recommend 303 products to protect that nice looking finish. I can't recommend it since I've never used it. Damper is a definite need though. ;)

I, too, think it's a good-looking truck....lol...AND the bank really likes me having it...ANOTHER LOL Yes, I have the tailgate damper and the hood shocks. I also added the engine cover. My brother turned me on to 303 many years ago. After retiring from the AF, he went to work for a large RV company, and that was what they used on all their RV'S. The last thing, I think, I added, is above the RANGER XLT on the front fender...You have to enlarge the picture to see it...THAT was a waste of money...lol
